[Resolved] Birla Power Solutions Ltd. — FD Interest

Dear Sir/Madam,

I purchased Fixed Deposit from Birla Power Solutions Ltd. on 31/05/2012. Interest was due on 30/09/2012 but I don't received any interest warrant till date. I contact to their agent M/s Adroit Corporation Services Pvt. Ltd. and Mr. Praful & Mr. Sandeep informed me that they have no instructions from BPSL to release interest warrant.

I also try to contact Birla Power Solutions Ltd. so many times and after lot of effort on 28/11/12 Mr. Santosh attend the phone and assured that interest would be release by 15/12/2012. On 21/12/2012 I talked to Mr. Santosh again and now he says that interest will release by 15/01/2013 but this time again he didn't committing the due date. I also mail to Sr. Executive Mr. Ashish from BPSL on November 26, 2012 but no revert so far.

This is very unfortunate and unbelievable that a group like Birla (Yash Birla Group) don't have funds to pay even interest, how they would refund principal amount? I'm worried about. Investors from all over India investing in Birla's FD because this is a matter of trust. Birla Power should realise that and arrange interest to their FD investors immediately.

Dear All Respected Sir,

I honor to state few lines for your favorable consideration, I am only the earning person at my family and I am working in a responsible position in Private sector, hence I had exigency of work & late sitting at my office as well as home on Sundays. I had two daughter’s, my elder daughter had “Dyslexia” a mental retardation disease and my wife is suffering from Asthma & Anemia (low BP) from last 14 years, during hospitalization and my absent in 2006 & 2012 we had two times robbery at my home and loss of hardly earned Savings around Rs.7 Lac’s valid Gold and Accessories.

In this critical situation, I have saved Rs.20, 000/- from hard earned money on 21.6.2010 and invested in highly reputed Birla Group ie `Birla Power Solutions Ltd’ to get high return of Rs. 27, 972/- on 20/6/2013 FDR No. 25605, after 3 years waiting period, I am worried to know that the company has some problems.

I would request you to kindly consider as a special case to repay the Rs. 27, 972/- at the earliest possible to overcome above hardship of my life. This is for your kind sympathetic and favorable consideration.

Dear All,

We are Sr Citizens, self a house wife & husband is a retired official with no pension & any other source of income. Mainly depending upon saving done while he was in service & retirement benefits like gratuity.

We put Rs. 1, 00, 000/- with Birla Power Solution Ltd. for regular interest payment needed to run the house. However, , only one interest warrant of Rs 5875/- was recd on 31/03/2012.

We mailed many messages (Msg. dtd 29/01/2013, reminder on 14/02/12013 & 02/04/2013) to :

We have no other source of income, no interest is also recd from 01.04.2012 to till date. Understand the company has some problem, we are totally shattered & need our money to meet day to day requirement.

We earnestly request to consider our request & arrange to get our Money (Rs. 1, 00, 000/- ) & interest payable as on date.

We are of the opinion that CONSUMERS COMPLAINTS (INDIAN CONSUMERS COMPLAINT FORUM) is only meant for registration of complaints only. Do not show what action are taken / being taken to resolve the issue. We had submitted our complaint on 14/07/2013 against Birla Power Solution Ltd. (Non receipt of Interest payment since 01/04/2012) but have not received what action has been taken.
I AM A HOUSE WIFE & HUSBAND IS RETIRED WITH NO SOURCE OF INCOME. LIFE HAS BECOME DIFFICULT.
PL HELP US IN GETTING OUR PRINCIPAL AMOUNT BACK WITH INTEREST DUE.

I too have FD of Rs.100000 FDR No: 0030777 commenced on 21.4.12, but not a single interest has been paid so far. The interest was supposed to have been paid quarterly. As not a single quarter interest has been paid so far, the company knew that they are not going to pay any interest! I ever expected Birla group will play such dirty tricks and cheat the customers. The company knew that they are going to cheat.
