EPF Amount not Credited

Dear Sir,

This is to inform you that My EPF claim is settled as on 14/07/2008 and till date the amount is not credited. I spoke with EPF, Chennai they told me that they dispatched the cheque on 16/07/2008 and you should contact with bank. I contact to bank also they are telling till now they didn't received any cheque from EPF, Chennai.
Now, tell me what should I do for EPF amount....

Non-receipt of EPF amount

Ref No. RC/TN/Cash/P.I. No. 2262/2308/Group 09; Dated 27/07/2006

PF A/C No. TN/347A/6680

Two cheques had been sent to my bank - Indian Bank, Palakkad by from EPF, Chennai. a copy of the intimation was sent to my address.

Unfortunately at that time, the account was in my wife's name and not a joint a/c. For this reason, the cheques were sent back as per the Indian bank authorities....
