Security Deposit Amount Reduced

Address:Kolkata

With additional SD for AC installation in 2016, My security deposit was held was INR 2540/- as per April-2021 Bill.
But in April-2022 Bill, the SD amount reflecting as INR 1040/- that too with the interest.

How this can be happened with todays infrastructure and system. I never adjusted any bill with this SD....

Billing raised high through Residence is closed from last Feb.22 as we are outstation

Con.No.[protected], Cus.I.D.[protected], Billing Month 04/22, Biling Amount.Rs.180/-.
With ref. to above I state that our residence has been kept closed from last Feb.22 as we are in outstation. Still we find that CESC raised a bill higher than that of the last month. In this context, I wonder what's the minimum charge to be paid by the customer/month for keeping the power connection in active mode without consuming power in the residents...

Illegal selling of electricity by a person at higher price

With due respect, I Rahul Das, would like to draw your attention to the problem that my father Ganesh Das who was residing in 329 Rabindra Sarani kolkata-700006 had passed away leaving his electric connection active (Consumer Id- [protected]) and now that electric connection is being used for unfair gains, Ajay Mahato is selling electricity at a very high price to other people for unfair gains.

Delay in starting new connection despite payment

We have requested for new connection of electricity to CESC limited in flat no 4F of block 1 at Sugam Habitat 158A NASKARHAT PICNIC GARDEN ROAD KOLKATA WEST BENGAL pin 700039. As per demand letter and Bill no. 08/07951/22/7/1 we have paid the entire amount of Rs 21150/- on 04.05.2022. Annexure B has been filled up and accepted by CESC as per their return mail received by us. However even after fifteen days connection from CESC has not started....

Did not get the Meter

Address:4G, Proview Home, R N Guha Road, Nagar Bazar, Kolkata-28

Hi,

This is Ashwini Kumar Bal, applied for a new meter on 22-Apr-21 and 6-Mar-22 with reference number 05/10602/21 and 05/06559/22. However, I still have not received my new meter.

Current status for both of my applications are: Identify common suitable position for new SVC.

After my 1st application, 4 meters have come to our premises. If the reason is for a new service line then how those 4 meters...

Monthly billing

High Electricity Bill since may 2020

My electricity bill has been increasing gradually since the covid screw up when everyone in Kolkata received an increased amount of bill from CESC. Before that my electricity bill used to be in the[protected]rs range. But now after May 2020 it has risen to such a point I am having to pay[protected]rs bill per month. On April 2022 we received a bill of 7180rs which is absolutely insane.

Surely there is something wrong with our...

Excessive units in meter/bill

I checked my April 2022 bill and it shows 525 units of consumption whereas I only use 1fan, 1freeze, and 1ac. Due to this my April month bill is around 4560.
please check your meter.

High Electricity

We are receiving high electricity bill than usual for the past two months, For the month of March we received a bill amount of 850 Rupees and for the month of April we received a bill amount of 970 rupees. All the bills are payed within the due date. Kindly look into the issue as soon as possible.

Billing issue

This is for your kind information that I have received the bill for the month of March, 2022 is amounting to RS. 1940. though my house was closed for that month for approx 25 days then how could such huge consumption of electricity can be made in just 6 days of the month.
the Six month consumption are :
oct - 226 units
nov - 190 units
dec - 92 units
jan - 97 units
Feb - 67 units
march - 273...

Delay in Meter Delivery

My name is Archana Shome, my customer name is-[protected], consumer id-[protected]. Yesterday i.e. 21st April the CESC authorities came and started breaking the streets to find out some wire of other stuff, due to sheer incompetence I had no current for 6 hours.

Today i.e. 22 April they came perilously close to breaking my own water tank, if my tank breaks then I will take the strictest of legal actions if the need arises....
