Dear Sir,
Under the Indian constitution, every citizen has the right to be treated equally, but not CBSE students.
CBSE has this strange way of conducting final board examinations for Grade 12 students. They set 3 different sets of question papers for the students with varying levels of difficulty. This is not a level playing field and children are discriminated.
The latest example is the Grade 12 Mathematics examination held on 20th March 2014. There were 3 different sets 65/2/1, 65/2/2 and 65/2/3. The set 65/2/3 was much more difficult as compared to the other sets. The questions were way too lengthy and the shortage of time put pressure on the children and they panicked and could not solve even the ones they knew.
I demand that CBSE should consider this and normalize the papers by using some yardstick and give moderation to the students who got the difficult papers. Without this, children will not get equal opportunity while applying for higher studies.
In general, CBSE should not set different papers for different students.
Thanking you,
