For this month electric bill you have exactly copied the same units of last year similar month's units and not the actual unit reading.
This might be coincidence for 1 electric bill that the unit value is same in current month and similar month in last year but definitely not for all 5 electric bills. We have 5 electric bill and all have exactly the same units copied from similar month in last year. This is definitely not acceptable...

I'm a resident of 117 nehru colony 3rd floor.

My consumption unit for this month is showing 183 unit for the period of 20 march 2020 to 18 april 2020 which is very high and not acceptable.

My average consumption goes to 50 unit/month.

high bill charges for april 2020

With regret i want to draw your kind attention that for the lockdown the meter reading for the last month and current month was not taken and no bill was received by us. Inpite of not taking the reading you have sent us a message regarding bill where the charges are unexpectedly high. How can you do such a thing without proper reading!! high bill for consumer no 05318015000

Due to lockdown no person has come for metre reading but from cesc they sent high bill amounting to rs 7200 which is totally incorrect. My previous bill was rs 204 for the month of february and for january bill was rs 86 then how could our present bill which is for march is 7200. Hi sir,
This is a major complaint that cesc has sent a highly inflated and incorrect electric bill for the month of march, 2020.

This march month my total bill amount is inr 2920 and it shows that total units consumed are 347 for march, 2020 which exactly matches with units consumed for march, 2019.

My consumer number is [protected] and customer id is [protected].

We have not run air conditioner...

incorrect bill of consumer no 05318015000

Kindly note this month i. E march 2020 due to lockdown no person has come for metre reading but from cesc we received an average bill amounting to rs 7200 which is totally incorrect. We have already paid an advance amount of rs 5130 to cesc due to previous average bill. high electricity bill charges

I would like into bring into your notice that the electricity bill which has been generated for the month of march is unduly high. I have been billed for an amount of rs 3420 including the taxes stating that the energy consumed is 498 units which isn't a correct figure. I haven't been using the acs. It's only the lights, fans, a laptop plugged in for around 8 hours sometimes.

unexpectedly high electric bill

We haven't been staying at this residence since december 2019. It's completely locked. Till february 2020, there were no electricity charges.in march 2020, bill of rupees 750 came out of which around 580 is energy charges. How is this possible. There is nobody staying there. meter reading not done for current month

It may be due lock down the CESC has not deputed meter reader so far, though it is over due. I[censored]nder the prevailing situation meter reading is not feasible, in order to redress the burden on consumers, every consumer either may be asked to check the exact reading and intimate the CESC, on the basis of which online payment could be made....

But like every month there is no meter reading date and unit consumption alert from cesc. But suddenly they arise a bill without meter checking and meter reading acknowledgement.
