[Resolved] Cleartrip — Charging processing fee on canceled ticket | |||
I had booked tickets under trip ID [protected], which had to be subsequently cancelled. Cleartrip charged Rs. 3, 000 towards airline cancellation charges and Rs. 500 towards Cleartrip charges. In addition to this charge, they charged Rs. 300 as processing fee charges. It wasn't mentioned in the tickets that processing fee would be charged in case of cancellation. Cleartrip has already charged Rs. 500 towards flight cancellation, so why they need to charge another Rs. 300 process fee, not specifically written in the ticket? Was this information helpful? | |||

We would like to clarify that we do inform about the same under Booking Policy. The statement clearly state "Convenience fee is non-refundable in case of ticket cancellation by the user, or flight cancellation by the airline.". We hope this has clearified your doubt.
