Click N Go — False promise, misleading marketing

Hi, The company Click-n-Go called me up saying that they are calling from Visa. They said that based on my credit card usage they will provide a discount card which will be valid for 10 years. There will be one time joining fee of Rs. 8000. Once I get the card, using it I can avail 20% flat discount on all the purchases made though my credit card. They said there will be also some gifts along with the card. So, I made the payment and I got the card along with the card. As for the gifts, they seemed like whatever products were not sold, they just sent me. But since I was mainly interested in the card, I decided to try it. But to my surprise I didn't find any instruction booklet explaining about it. When I called clickngo customer care, they for the 1st time told me that it's simply a discount card. When I asked them to cancel it as it was not what was promised to me, they said it won't be possible. When finally I gave up, they asked me to go to a site called savetoenjoy to avail the discounts. When I went their, I found it simply contains generic promotions which can be availed by anyone without paying any kind of membership fee. So eventually it turned out to be a complete fraud.
