Cochin Corporation — Cheap quality stationery items and double price

Address:Ernakulam, Kerala

I am a resident of Elamakkara, Kochi. There is a small stationery shop in Elamakkara, Padam road, owner name is Jayan. It is between Padam road and IGM School. It is the 2nd shop when coming from Padam Road on the left side. It is not legally function, as the shop should be minimum 5 feet from the road and it is just near the road and causing traffic congestion as people will be standing on road to buy products and the road is only 5 or 6 feet. I think it is not registered with Cochin corporation. Moreover, the products are low quality, vegetables will be decayed and rice will be product of China and each and every products will be 5 or 10 rupees more than other shops. As plenty of Bengalis are staying near it, they are selling in high price and others are also forced to buy in this rate. All the products are worst quality, especially the bread and cake products have crossed the expiry dates bcoz they get it for cheap rates and cheating people. Eggs will be decayed and coconuts will be the same condition. They are looting the poor people like anything, but no one is there to complaint or protest. Please do something as soon as possible to stop these sort of cheating in a metropolitan city like Kochi. No name for the shop. It is just 200 meters from the Elamakkara main road on Padam Road on the way to IGM School and the second shop on the left side. Owner is JAYAN.
