Airtel Broadband/ Landline — Disconnection due to non-functioning
My Airtel Broadband has not been working for over 3 months now. Few attempts were made after numerous complaints. It would then work only for a few hours and then go "dead" again.Out of sheer disgust, I sent a request for disconnection of my Broadband connection along with its associated Landline No[protected]. Request was given on Sept 13th, 2011 and complaint No 3977028 was emailed to me. Further a cancellation No 4019450 was given to me stating everything would e completed within 7 days. Since I had written to the Nodal officer, I got a call 2 weeks ago and they said they will do it within 24 hours and also debit my monthly charges of Rs 551 for 3 months.
Nothing has happened so far as Airtel is extremely UNRESPONSIVE

Since am customer for you from launch period.i am running STD PCO for past more than 12 years, you can refer my Land Line PCO bills.Today i called your customer care( HARI ), was not giving me a proper response and he guiding me to cancel the land lines.i am unhappy with your customer care support...the time of calling (3/10/2011 at 9.15 pm).
I gave you a request to change my Airtel Broadband plan ( from MAX10GB to MAX30GB).I didn't get any response from your side for the past one week.I am not willing to extend your network in my Address...

Airtel sales guys have been calling us for converting prepaid SIM to postpaid. After going through the prices, we agreed to change. An Airtel sales guy came on 26th Sep 2011 and took the needed documents and photo from us. We were asked to pay Rs.350 towards activation charges and new postpaid SIM. 3 days later address verification too was done. We understand that Postpaid SIM has been activated. We have so far not received the postpaid SIM.
Now Airtel customer dept says that we need to pay again Rs.50 towards the SIM.
These guys are just cheats. Till they get our money, they will be behind us, thereafter, none of these cheats bother to check whether the service has been rendered or not. These guys have no conscience...just loot the customers. All these guy will pay for their sins.
All the guys who wish to go for postpaid Airtel, be ware of this fraud by the company.
Now Airtel customer dept says that we need to pay again Rs.50 towards the SIM.

Airtel is not going to respond. Their quality of customer service has deteriorated heavily since last 1 year or so. You are lucky to get a disconnection mail. one of my friend was told to clear the outstanding bills (for the period when internet was not working) before requesting for disconnection. That poor guy is still suffering from last 3 months or so.
It is time to leave airtel and go for other provides for good.

1.) I have a compaint for my landline number[protected], Past from few months My CENTREX number have been changed by airtel without my knowlegde and request, when i complaint regarding they do not agree and put on us saying that you only have requested, were ah i dint, STILL NOT YET RECTIFYIED.?
2.) Secondly My NUMBER WAS ACTIVATED FOR PARALLEL RINGING TO MY CELL NUMBER WERE AS THAT TO THEY HAVE DEACTIVATED WITHOUT MY REQUEST,
3.) And at last when i stopped making payments of the airtel bills they have disconnected my BROADBAND Service,
i Knew if still i wont make a payment they will also disconnect my incoming/outgoing,
But Guinenely for all the problems i have given complaints and taken complaint request number too,
Every of your customer care people will committ that your problem will be solved within 24 hrs, but nothing is going to happend with there commitement, at last they send a message to my cell saying that your complaint request is been solved.
