i don't know who has placed order with no.0GA[protected] by my name which i came 2 know sms es send by u.even i got information abot it's delievery on my mail by u on 25/11/08 with no.395322.i want 2 know how the order has been placed on my name n what it contains n how 2 cancel it 2.hope u will co-operate for the same this time as i have send u sms es n mail before.hoping 4 ur early reply.Regards arti patil.

I am very much frustrated . I could not open the site as intimated to me by India Today Book Club. I am unable to claim my gift.

Encyclopedia Britannica — The CDs do not run and free was not received

I ordered the Encyclopedia Britanica. On the offer was a Free Gift of Tupperware Product as well as a voucher of INR 5000.00.
When we received the package, it was without the free gift. We have still not tried the Voucher. The CDs do not run.
I avoid buying anythong online after a very experience. However, due to 'India Today' name, I was trapped.

May I get my money back.

Free Gifts for Encyclopedia order — Fraud in sending free gifts

i had booked my order with ITBC for encyclopedia and i was delivered a month after the order and repeated followups. the free gifts have not been issued. i had tried several times and failed to log in the wed address they give.. over phone they say the unique no. is activated but i am not able to get my gifts.

the response of people over phone is also irresponsible and they dont care coz we hav already paid for their product... they are happy in cheating us right royally.

BEWARE OF INDIA TODAY BOOK CLUB before booking any orders.

I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT KEEP AWAY FROM ITBC AND THEIR PROMOS... all cheating and fruad.

This email is about how irresponsibly your Book Club staff namely Himmatwalia, Wasim, Pooja, Priya, & Tabrez Alam atttend to the customers/ subscribers.
On 12-11-08 I sent one Axis Bank cheque number 028346 for Rs714/- towards the renewal of Books Today Magazine (Rs299/-) and one book Hot, Glatte Crowded by Thomas Friedman.
After 15 days or so I telephoned[protected] your office. One Himmatwalia or so handled the phone and asked me to hold on for status of the order. For about 20 minutes or so I held on. This Walia didn't turn up and only the music ringtone was on. I again tried at 4 p.m. or so. In place of this Walia the music tone was there.
I again tried on 10-12-08 or so. One Wasim attended. He told the cheque is there in the office, due to absence of attending person the order could not be processed. I asked him about the date of order. The cheque was credited to you account on 13-12-08.
On 22.12.08, I had talked with on Priya. She told the order is about to be processed and would reach in 8 days or so.
Today (06.01.09) I again telephoned you office. Two members attended. First one Pooja attended. Asked me about the title of order and the cheque etc. etc. Then one Tabrej Alam attended. I was told it would take 15 days to process the order. I asked both to get me to some senior. NO REPLY AND STARTED MUSIC TONE.
Sir, if such irresponsible persons are there in your office to deal with old/ new customer, your Book Club is doomed. Sould you trace my purchase record, books worth more than 25000/- have been purchased.
I'm India Today subscriber since 1978 or so.
I repeat my order: 1. Hot Flat & Crowded. 2. The free gift titled AWAKENING THE MIND BY DALAI LAMA.
I hope your office is staffed by more responsible customer friendly persons and not the above-named one.

this seem to be a criminal when we talk about India Today Book Club. I placed an order of 3 cd's in july and received in just a week time but the shocking is that inspite of number of reminders till date i've not received the free gifts of 3days 2 nights trip in more than 7 months.
i've lost complete faith from this company. they are crimrnals.

When you operate any scheme for customer, it is your duty to despatch whatever scheme or any gift article. Why customer should remind all the way, he might have some more priority work than running after scheme items,
