[Resolved]  Louis Quartz wrist watch — duplicate watches

i have recived an offer from sbi card saying i have won this louis watch and they are askin for my credit card no and detail and askin for Rs 690 as handling charges and this watch is worth Rs 4000.00 the pamplet says

AVA/LOUIS WATCH — CHEATED BY AVA MERCAHNTISING

Dear Sir,
I have been fooled when AVA merchandising has sold me the product for Rs.500/- as redemption charges while flying through Jet Lite.They sold me Louis Watch saying that is a imported watch.The watch is local
made and having no serial no, warrent details and email of any company

This is purely a breach of trust, i want you to please take the action against Jet lite and AVA merchandising.

i have recieved same offer from sbi and i just got to this site and as i have read so many person is facing same problem than some action should be taken toward ava

Few days ago I also received an offer (Louise Quartz Watch) from SBI Credit Card against rs 590/=..Finally I decided to check in the net about the product and got this site..Thanks God, I read so many complaints in this site..So finally I have decided not to go for this offer...Thank you...

The banks have clearly indicated that they are no way responsible for liability...even I got the offer, I came across this web page and decided not to opt for it...I wanted to report this... since some of you have opted for it, try calling AVA and talk to them ...

I recieved a pamphlet with my recent credit card statement of AVA Merchandising offering Louis Wrist watch free for Citibank Credit Card holders, just Rs. 500 charges. I ordered that watch and recieved, and got an international guarantee card of 1 year but card does not contain any serial no. of watch, date of sale, etc. and also the watch, battery are duplicate.

Please take some action against such companies adn banks who are promoting such products and making other fool.

Today I got this offer from SBI card and I called AVA to their toll free no and asked about the offer for free Louis Quartz watch and the executive told me that the watch is out of stock and call us on next week and we will deliver you next week after taking handling charges of Rs 590. I asked about the product and they told me it cost you Rs 4000 but after checking other people response/comments, I decided not to go for that watch. They are the cheaters and should report to consumer court so that they can't fraud to others.

Today i.e. 18.09.2008, I also recieved a pamphlet with my recent SBI VISA credit card statement of AVA Merchandising offering Louis Wrist watch free for SBI Card Holders, just Rs. 590 charges. To order this offer I conteced on the phone No. given inthe pamphlet. After holding more than 20 minutes I was informed that since there is no stock available at this time so pl. contact us in next week. By chance, I expored this site and Shri Ramavat ji you saved my Rs. 590/-. Thanks.

I got this from SBI card.But in different format.Like they have sent a scratch card & we win many itmes in the scratch card.Obviously they would have kept lot of watches in the scratch card.The actual cath is to claim this prize I have to pay Rs 490 which is nothing but the cost of the watch.So mean & greedy, right.I never thought SBI card would cheat people like this.

DONT GET FOOLED BY THE OFFERS. THE LOUIS QUARTZ WATCH IS OF CHINA MAKE AND IT DOES NOT COST RS.4000/- (THIS WATCH COULD BE ASSEMBLED IN A LOCAL MARKET HERE). STERN ACTION MUST BE TAKEN AGAINST SUCH COMPANIES INDULGING IN SUCH MARKETING.
