I also received similar kind of a mail, with only the bank's name, account name, and the account holder name changed.

And another noticable thing here is the spelling of "offer letter" written as "offer latter".

Expecting HCL to look into this matter. Peoples may be misguided by the brand name.

Hi guys.. yesterday i also received same mail. If really any company is in existence with this name and they are offering such a huge amount of salary then, defiantly company should have their own email-id's. But this is not the case. The e-mail id from which we have received this type of mail, its a gmail id.

I too received an exact same mail. The mail looked suspicious so i looked for some more information regarding it. Now thanks to you guys, my doubt is cleared. This is indeed a fraud mail. I request the company to take appropriate action against it as soon as possible.

I also received the same mail from hcl.[protected]@yahoo.in which stated it was from hcl group. they asked me to deposit Rs. 4250 in ICICI account. I think surely it is fake... the mail is as follows...

I called up on the contect no. and in first attempt it keep on ringing..in second attempt..also keep on ringing with different ring tone from the first one.. in third attempt..."Kaka Varshney" as per the identity given by that person.. picked up the phone and I asked him abt. the authenticity of the mail..he didnt had the clarity...one more thing i had noticed in this case is..if you see the disclaimer, u will find the differnce in the email ids i.e one from which i have received the mail (hcl.call.[protected]@gmail.com) and the second one is registered in naukri as Sumit Enterprises (wipro.hrd.[protected]@gmail.com). Company must take strong action in this regards.
