[Resolved] Abinaya Constructions — coupon cheating | |||
We the victim of abinaya construction were cheated by coupon forgery on 25/01/2012.. They called us and said that you have been chosen by luck and then they said that you have won Rs 45000 gift voucher and you can purchase any home appliance for 45000. They asked us to come to their place in tambaram iyasami street near icici bank. When we went there they compelled and forced us to join their CELEBRITY CLUB scheme, nearly three different people came and negotiated with us and forced us to join their scheme,they were giving us mental tension for about 2 hours continuously without any refreshments,when we avoided their scheme they tried to brain wash us.As we were strong consumers we were strong in our decision we wanted Rs.45000 voucher to buy home appliances.At last when we did not accept what they said.They brought us out and and gave a small gift box worth Rs 50 and a coupon which entitled free goa trip,but actually it was not free,it was not worth at all. Today I got a call from Abhinya constructions that they have selected me thru lucky draw and also they told me that you have selected from the lucky draw contest which you participated in abirami mega mall and i got a gift coupon worth of Rs 45, 000 kitchen set. I know that nobody can give you a gift to any unknown person without any reason or benefit. I expressed my in ability to attend with my wife so can i come with my friend but they refused instead she merely asked me to send my friend with his wife or my parents. This itself indicates they planned for cheating.If prize is really for me, how can I ask somebody to receive on my behalf without any proof.Then i serached in google (Consumer complaints). Thank god I am saved..Thanks a lot friends..

I got a similar call today stating that I have been selected for free gift voucher worth Rs 45000. They told to come to place near Independence day park. can anyone please tell me whether any of them have gone and got the gift or is it just for land promo.

Today only we received the same call from abi constructions...They told us us to come as a family..
We almost got ready to go..I just googled once before leaving...Thank god i landed here...These people should be punished severely...I recently gave my number in spencers, velachery...That is where they took the number i guess..Thank you so much guys...

Hey guys, I also got a call from Abhi constructions today. I told that I will not be able to come now. But they told to refer any other couple to get the coupon of Rs.45, 000. They also told that we need not buy any land or house or anything to get the free coupon. I was sure that this a kind of cheating or fooling.

Despite of these alerts, the Abi SCAM seems to be active and continue their business in same style (45k+gift box @ ayyasamy st, near icici bank tambaram.. dont know how many ppl wasted their time/money :(

I got a message today morning that i have won some prize money and a gift for a shopping which i have done some 7 months back .They told me come to a location (No .40 ramanaikan Street valuvarkottam High road Nungambakam Chennai .34)( Phone no [protected] )
I know it is fraud call and they will compel me to buy their product or to join their group by paying some cash .
since i am a internet user i can know about this but what about persons who do not know this kind of technology or do not have any access to it . Does our system does not have any law which can stop this kind of lure and torture mechanism ? after so many complaints why has any of the Govt agencies not taken any action on this. Or are they are using the loop hole in our system . Please save the vulnerable by spreading this.

Thanks guys for this information, i also received same story call 45000 gift voucher and kitchen set from strange number, i remember the day before the call i visited Bigbazar at phoenix mall vallechery and one boy taken my name and number said it is for big bazaar coupans lucky draw, luckily i didn't go bcz i had doubt about their approach thank god saved my time and from their torture :)
Even i recieved a call like this yesterday. I have been to reliance trends, chromepet on the day before that, and a guy asked me my details like name, phone number etc, and told me that the details are for a lucky draw.
Any ways I am not going to collect the gift :P

WTF..!!! Just now I received the call from Abi construction, Last sunday I went to Pheonix mall with my friends, they asked me to give my name and mobile number for gift coupon. so, i gave... and now a girl called over the phone, and she said, i won gift voucher worth Rs 45, 000, it may be a kitchen set or home appliances or something, and she asked me are you married? Of course I am..:P so, she forced me to bring my parents.. so, I get suspected, and googling about Abi construction west tambaram, near by National Theatre.
Thank god... haha you know, actually i was planned to go over there with my brother and sister-in-law.. :P :P Thanks frnds..

We went Bomay Circus held at chennai central on 17.1.15. we have filled one lucky coupan. Today i have received call from the mobile no [protected] They called us and said that you have been chosen by luck and then they said that you have won Rs 45000 gift voucher and you can purchase any home appliance for 45000. They asked us to come to their place in No 27 Ayyasamy street ground floor icici bank west tambaram. After that call I cross checked with internet i got this post thanks for posting.
Today I got a call from some Devi telling the same story representing the same company ABHI construction (no 40 1st floor rama st nugampakkam) asking me to bring my husband with me.. I felt something is fishy so googled .. I am shocked that this fraudlent activity is happening from past 3 years and our government is not taking any action. Please ban this company. I have learned one thing not to give my phone for any contest or withdrawal.
I too got a call from a girl called Keerthi, I searched about this in Net, thank you guys for your comments. I need not waste my time after knowing about this cheap act of Abhinaya builders.
