We wish to once again inform you that the IAF (Investment Application Form) is an account opening form to open an account with the bank for investment services and is mandatory requirement.

Please refer the attached excerpt from the Bank’s policy regarding the same.

“Customers who are investing in Investment products (like 3rd party Mutual Funds, Government Bonds, etc) need to sign-up the New “Investment Account Form” (IAF) to initiate a relationship with the Bank.

The IAF includes:
Static details of the customer
Risk disclosure statement and understanding of the nature of investment products being purchase/ sold by the customer
Undertaking to indemnify the Bank for any loss or damage suffered due to such investments

The above is a mandatory document and needs to be available for a client prior to offering advisory services.”
