I had purchased a laptop Acer Aspire 4530 on October 08. The very next day it had to be taken to the service station in Siliguri since the laptop would not boot up. The problem was rectified. After a month, My Laptop speakers stopped working. I applied for warranty and got it replaced after a few weeks. The new Replaced speaker also stopped working after a week. The next time i asked for warranty, the company did not respond for about two months and after making a complaint to the regional manager, I got a new replacement speaker which to my Shock was also not working. The Company Technician said that he would personally come to my residence to fix this...and finally on 13th may 09 that laptop was dead. No power button was working no sign of anything. The company Technician finally managed to start up my machine but the hard drive had already crashed. Since the laptop is well within warranty,
I now want a complete replacement of my Laptop from Acer failing which I shall have to resort to the Consumer Protection Forum. Was this information helpful? |
