[Resolved]  Acer Laptop — Surely the worst

ACER ASPIRE 4720Z — power on switch wont turn on

Hello I bought the aspire4702z one year ago and untill recently it has worked fine. I can no longer turn the laptop on, at first i was having to press the power button for twenty minutes untill it would turn on now it wont turn on at all. Is there something I can try to do my self or am I going to have to bring it somewhere to have someone work on it.

many laptop companies are offering extention warranty period of 2 or 3 years with certain amount .is this facility is available for acer

i have purchased the acer laptop model ASPIRE5920, at the time of delivery only the delaer took three to four attempts to load the acer drivers from acer driver cd. when i tried to start the coputer in safe mode is is not starting in safe mode. while working a blue screen comes saying problem occured and system restarts. there are problems from the first day
when i talked to delaer he has not given answers satifactorly, he reformated the pc 3/4 times, tried his expertise still the problem exists. i am very unhappy with acer laptop.
i am working in a engineering college, i do have contact with 5000 students, where ever some body asks me about my laptop i have to share this information with them.
please help me to solve this problem.

ACER/C.P.U — hanging problem

i have purchased a c.p.u from croma new delhi on 27/02/2009. It had hanging problem. my complain No: is Acer[protected], Dated-13/04/09.It was placed at Okhla service center.Till now it is not repaired and also no one is giving me the right picture. please consider my case and do the needfull as soon as possible an reply.

I am Soarbh from Ranchi (Jharkhand).
I hav bought an acer laptop on 01/07/08. Now from 7 to 8 days, the pin-point of the charger get current and due to which the whole metallic parts of laptop get current and we got shock as while touching.
Please give me a solution as its now only 1 month left as warranty-period.
Can adapter will be changed in this warranty-period?

Acer — Acer aspire defective laptop given

Hello,

I would like to bring this to your kind attention, that I purchased my
laptop on 1st January 2009 from vaibhav solutions, Carlton towers Bangalore
for a price of INR 30, 000 with S. No. LXARE0C0198422B46B2500 and I
committed the biggest mistake of my life, Upon using it for just 20 days I
started facing problems with my machine. This is a clear indication of how
a branded company like ACER is making fool of innocent customers by giving
them some stupid machine which starts behaving in a strange fashion in just
20 days of purchase.

Since the inception I am continuously in touch with the call centre guys
and with Vaibhav solutions centre and seriously tired of their excuses.
It's been five times in five months that I reported some or the other
incident to them and still they are not able to fix up the issue
completely. I was informed by the ACER call centre that somebody is going
to get in touch with me, yet no one responded back to me.

Remark: This was the major issue and I expected a replacement for my laptop. I had a talk with ACER customer support regarding the replacement and they assured me that the problem won’t occur now.

I had bought Acer LAPTOP ASPIRE 4720Z last year. For first year it was working well, but as soon as its warranty expires, it started troubling me. It was getting turned off immediately after booting. I showed it to the dealer, they said it is because of overheating. They did some cleaning and then it was working fine again for a month or so. But from last one month again, if i starts virus scan, it is getting too much overheated and getting turned off again and CD drive is also not working. Its tray itself is not coming out, as it is disconneted while they did cleaning.

As a customer, i would like to know, why we people are buying this laptop, for our convinience or for troubles.

Acer Aspire 5920 — blink of screen randomly

i have, accer 5920 series laptop and it's screen gets white and starts blinking. i have complaint for it two time and i was sent to service center at Delhi but problem is as before. due to it, several times my studies got interrupted. so please try to fire this problem, and i purchased this laptop, last September.

Man...Its very awful that u r facing such a serious probs. with Acer, I thought of buying new Aspire 5738G but after going through your experience I shall reconsider my decision.

I am facing a problem here, I am completely unsatisfy from your product, my notebook acer 4720 my serial no.LXAL80C02380309E512500.My DVD writer was not working, I replaced it 2 times within warranty period, but still I have a problem now my warranty is over, before a month of warrantyends I replace my Writer Second time and in one month its not working I used it only three four times after replacing, I am totally unhappy from your product...I can't take it more ...I really disappoint by buying acer product...I buy it for my study but more of time it was in service center...Sorry to say but you have to do something because I am not going to use acer product after this anymore...

My self Anil kumar Goswami bought this Laptop recently from kalyan from vijay sales. and the charger of this Laptiop is not working. I kindly request you to please see my problem. My laptop is still in warrenty period of 3 yrs .Please help me out with this problem. please replace my charger or my laptop.

Problem with laptop Acer 5738g - turning off while playing games dont know why i will gave the acer to rapair it!!
Im playing private server Cabal and after few hours maybe i dont know it shuts down and not only cabal and GTA 4 and SBK 2009 well maybe more but i installed only those for know i got my laptop from almost 24 days not even a month and having that problem i m going to call for repair because i cant go on with this i hope its noting serious if some1 knows solution for this problem ill be greatfull

Aspire 4530 — keyboard not working

my ACER Aspire 4530 laptop's key board is not working. The function key of the laptop has been activated and it creates a problem while working on the laptop's keyboard. My laptop is under warranty period please replace it as soon as problem.

Dear all acer manufactures worst class laptops withina year battery problem, start button broblem and LCD problem occured in laptop. I t has ben worst experience with this brand company.very nsatisfied
