[Resolved] Ahmedabad Traffic Police — Misbehaviour | |||
I was going on IIM Road and one police man stop me at IIM cross Roads on 24th August 7:00 p.m.his name was R M Vaghela he charged fine on me but used many bed words against me what authority he has to use any bed words or threaten anybody as being a policeman just for the shake of name? These policemen thinks themselves they have all the power with them only and a few policemen like this Vaghela are spoiling the name of Indian police in the world. Such policemen should be suspended. His intension was to take braive from me but couldn't because some other policemen were also there around him. Can our police commissioner Mr. Sudhir Sinha do anything in this regards or the people will have to suffer from these policemen forever. Will there be any code of conduct for such policemen. Now this is the matter to see what will Mr. Sinha do against Vaghela. Was this information helpful? | |||

You are very much right Avnish. Most o[censored]s know in India, despite paying taxes, citizens can't expect any help or even polite behaviour from our police dept. There is a very strong need to teach police dept employees, paticularly up to the rank of PSI the way they should behave with citizens. Unfortunately, not a sigle chief minister has ever taken any initiative in his regard in Gujarat. Police constabls are hadly seen at traffic points sincerely dischaging their duties. They openly witness harassment to public. Hit and run cases are the result of their outright negligence. If you have some connection with police dept, you can easily get set free despite any kind of criminal misonduct and rackless driving. Citizns have to suffer this tyrrany. The so called IPS officers also seem to be grossly failing in their duties. A lot of expectations were there from Mr. Sudhir Sinha whose incidents as a competent and very sincere police officrs I used to come across in dailies in past. Unfortunately, he is also silent. Howsoever, nicely we request these traffic police personnel, they behave ruely and for them we the law abiding honst citizens are nothing and they have licence to misbehave, abuse any one (except a few mentioed above) in any manner. They are never ready to understand their fault and on the contrary argue with us baselessly upon eminding of their duties!! As a result people have started connieving such otine incidens happening on roads. It was unfortunate it was your turn, the other day it would be my turn or any of my family membrs or any responsible and respectable citizen for that matter. It is the FACT in India today if we get victimizd of crime, we can't expect help from police rather adding to our problems. That is the reason scientists leave our country. I being a paRent assuming a very high position in the field of research would always wish...our CHILDREN at least are saved from such police dept and get protected like the same in any examplary dept in countries like Singapore, U.S., U.K.
