Air warriors submit their pension papers almost one year prior to their discharge as per instructions/orders issued by Air HQs vide their AFO/HRP, so that air warriors should get their PPO in the following months of their discharge from the service. But this is a false claim of the Indian Air Force. It is not a matter of amazement that if a air warrior waits for another 20 years for getting his pension after putting up 20 years of service. Motto of the Indian Air Force is "Touching the sky with glory". In fact, the INDIAN AIR FORCE is unable to touch the feelings & emotions of air warriors whether he is serving or retired.

Dear Sir,
You are requested to send my revised -Corr. PPO (old PPO No.- 08 /14 /8/ 13154/ 1990 ), if possible as I have not yet applied/ received it and no clear knowledge of my pension details, Presently, I am getting total pension Rs -7309/-with DA (-through SBI), not known about Grade pay included or not, as I am socially /legally/ politically an active person, presently a Vice-Chairman of Ex Servicemen Dept, UPCC, Lucknow, need to clarify others, even most people are not aware of it.
Wherefore, I, further request you to send my Corr. PPO and also necessary details of Grade pay included or not for early retirees/ pensioners as it is not clear from the perusal of different circulars/orders of PCDA website.
With regards,
From:- Ex 655200 H Sgt D.S. Tiwari, Advocate, CGC, HC, Lko.

Sir,
I 731976-B Ex Sgt Narender Kumar Sharma have been discharged from service on 30 June 2011 on fulfillment the conditions of enrollment under AF Rule 1969 on expiry of my regular engagement of 20 + 3 years.
My PPO has not been issued as yet. No information for undue delay in issue of PPO has been given either to me or at my last unit (12 wing, AF). Although on my telephonic inquiry from pension cell at AFRO, I could know that the issue of my PPO is pending because of some observation by JCDA (AF) and some clarification has been given. It is very concerning that my PPO has been delayed for no fault of mine having submitted my pension papers in August 2010 and it is almost one year since then the the concerned observation has not been clarified/ cleared at AFRO/JCDA (AF). Delay in issue of PPO has resulted in withholding my all pensionary benefits and my regular pension is also withheld. I have not only been subjected to a greater financial loss but also to greater hardship to settle and pull on in my day today life without getting my regular pension.
It is requested that I may please be intimated about the exact reason for delay in issue of PPO, action taken thereof and definite time frame when my PPO will be issued.
