Our flight number AI 191 was cancelled due to flight strike on 8th May 2012. We were not informed about This cancellation of flight till 1:40 (scheduled departure time of flight) and Then when we asked reasons for delayed flight They just told us That flight is cancelled. We were not made available wiTh any waiting room and till 6 o clock in The morning no one gave us a satisfactory answer. After 6 o cl we were given tickets of flight number AI131 which was till London, from London airport we have linked flight of united airways to Newark. In This flight only one check in bag was allowed and as per Air India we were having two check in bags. We were charged 70$ for 1 check in bag As we were having 4 check in bags we were charged wiTh 140$. This was not at all our fault and Air India did not responded to it. Whom should we contact wiTh for This issue, we have all relevant documents for payment of money.
