[Resolved]  Aircel — GPRS / pocket internet

I m using aircel in delhimy number is[protected],
I purchased a aircel sim card on 10th of june, 2009
I recharged with rs.98 to get unlimited internet, but when i started using pocket internet, browsing/surfing was fine, but download was very poor, when i try to download a file which is more than 750kb-1mb, it doesn't downloads the full file, it gets paused, and now after 5 days the browsing is also getting poor and downloading is literally 'nill', this is pure cheating and looting by them in the name of free unlimited internet.

i want my number [protected] of Aircel to be deactivated ASAP.. the sim was misplaced few months ago and i found out today that it is being used by someone else in Kolkata.. it's my urgent request to deactivate the above number which is registered under the name of Narayan Ch. Sarkar.. Thank you..

Aircel — Not received gift as promised

I havent received my gift watch as promised by theses guys. They are jus giving me a round abouts for the last three weeks. Their sevice really sucks. And hoping that this site really solves problems. Anyways i am just hoping for the best. Thanks
"This is a very weird case, the Aircel customer care is generally a very good one, more over IPL cricket update is an automated service, it is quite possible that you must have attended to any promotional calls or messages which has resulted in the activation and these promotional messages are used by all operators to promote services, DND service is the solution to this.

Aircel — Recharge amount

My Aircel no. [protected]. I bought this SIM 2 months ago. This month i recharged for Rs.50/- with talk value of Rs.43.33/-. I used to get some value added service calls daily. Yesterday (20-apr-2010) also, I got a service call to subscribe for Caller tunes in mobile. I am sure, I haven’t subscribed anything but My mobile balance got reduced to Rs. 13.33/- I haven’t got any message related to this subscribed amount. I have made some calls that too i got the charge reduced from the earlier balance amount (ie) while buying the simcard. How can this happen…? How can the current balance amount being deducted without any information. When I called customer care 121 or 198 i dont get any proper response. Dont the company think this is a mere cheet..? I need a proper response from your end.

Aircel — advertisement

I am one of the subcriber of Aircel. I already register DND ( Do Not Disturb) to my provider but still i am disturbed by the provider. My mobile number[protected]. Provider send the message that my query was solved, but yet not solved. provider given the reference number that my query was solved is R[protected] on 18/4/2010 and R[protected] on 17/4/2010. Please help me to solve this disturbances.

Well it is quite possible that you must have attended to any promotional calls or messages which has resulted in the activation. In future you can avoid such instances by getting your DND Service activated . Good luck.
Approaching them directly might serve your purpose, try and get in touch with the nearest Aircel store in your city, they will help you out.

Aircel — UNWANTED SERVICE ACTIVATE

WHEN THEY WERE SAW THE BALANCE IN MY AIRCEL NO. THEY AUTOMATIC ACTIVATE THE SERVICE WITHOUT OUR RESPONSE SERVICE LIKE CALLER TUNE AND IPL SCORE.I CANT RECHARGE MY NO BECAUSE OF THIS PROBLEM

hello this is gobi .. i'm surya fan so i'm using aircel.. but ur advertisement call is very distrubing... i know all the facilities what aircel has so do not distrub me ok..
I use to recieve many unwanted calls from the Aircel and I couldnt concentrate on my job. As the customer care suggested I activated DND. But it is horrible that it takes 45 days to deactivate. Bearing this torture for 45days is horrible and the reaction from the customer care was much horrible. They made me to wait an hour and I couldnt stay for much time waiting on call. Overall I am unhappy with this product and if anybody can help me to file a complaint against this company, please help me....

Aircel — No action on written Complaint

Hi,

I have requested for change of plan for my two cell numbers on 26th Dec 2009 to move from current plan to move it to PPS225 plan. Since billing cycle was starting from 26th Dec 2009 the executive mentioned that it will effect the change from next cycle starting 26th Jan 2010. Change requested was as follows:

Ph Number [protected]
1. Change of Plan to PPS225
2. Remove STD top up
3. Enable pocket Internet (Rs 99)

Ph Number [protected]
1. Change of Plan to PPS225
2. Remove STD top up

In Jan, Only plan was changed to PPS225 for [protected] and rest of action was not done. A written complaint was given and accepted by service desk at Perungudi office of Aircel with an assurance that:

1. Plan will be changed as requested.
2. backdated refund will be done.

On generation of the bill on 26th April 2010, no action has been taken by the firm yet. I have the copy of the acceptance of the complaint.

Please raise help me to get my issue addressed.

Aircel — cost charged for pocket internet

I have Aircel Pocket internet (Rs.98 plan). I just bought the sim card for surfing.
They say its free unlimited browsing and download (provided 10p/10kb after 30 days activation).
But surprisingly, on the first day, my account balanced was deducted by 5 rupees (and i didn't make any contacts from it).
Can anybody tell me its Reason??????
I can understand your problem, this might have occurred by a matter of chance, try and visit the nearest Aircel store and try to sort it out. Good luck.

DND is a regulatory service and the companies have to follow certain guidelines before activating, it does takes a maximum of 45 days. Have some patience and get it activated and I am sure very soon these calls and messages would be blocked.

Aircel — activation of caller tune w/o any consent and recovered amount for the same

Dear Sir,
I am using aircel no.[protected] since first week of april-2010, I have recharged my phone 07.05.10 first time, at random the company sent me a mail on 12.05.10 that your request for aircel dialer tune will be activated shortly, the company send this msg without talking me and activated dialer tune without my consent and deducted amount for the same. which is not justify this means they can deduct any amount from the subscriber without their consent. Please arrange to take proper action.
