I have taken a mobile conection from aircell for use of internet @Rs.98/- rental per month(Cell No.[protected]).in the M/O July 2009.I have recd first bill for the period 27.07.09 to 26.08.09 for Rs.258.00 instead of Rs.98 rental+s.tax per month.On receipt of the bill I contacted with aircell customer care and requested them for waiver of clipping charges of Rs.50.00 and roaming charges of Rs.48.60 which was wrongly debited to the bill but I have not received the proper reply from the aircell . Looking their neglegency of services I have requested them for dis- contionue the services of my above cell and paid Rs.250.00 towards full and final settelment of their bill vide receipt No.EPS43834 dated 23.10.2009 even the amount was not payable. After dis-connection of my services, aircell customer care office apporched me and confirmed the reversal on phone as well as through SMS of Rs.150/- excess charged by them and requested me to use the above credit but they have not activated my number. I am really surprised to receive the bill from aircell for the period 27/12 to 25/01/10 for the number which was dis connected long back.On receipt of the bill I have contacted with their C.P.office with Mr.Devesh and he has confirmed that their is no outstanding against your bill and he has also given confirmation number for the same ie new sr # 1-[protected] and assured me that no bill will be generated in future and no call will be received in future from our office for any payment. Inspite of all the confirmations, I am receiving the regular calls from their recovery offices and disturbing me a lot and therating me . I am again shocked to receive the bill for the period 27.02.2010 to 26.02.2010 of Rs.310.00.on receipt of the above bill I have again apporched to their CP office and on 6th March at 3.30PM Mr.Vishal Nair again confirmed that their is no outstanding on the bill and also confirmed the credit of Rs.150.00 excess paid by me vide Ref.No.1-[protected]. To day I have received a legal Notice from their Lawyer Mr.Vishvanathan demanding Rs.256/- outstanding against the bills to pay within 15 days otherwise they will file the suite. Looking the above circumstances , I have apporched your good self for helping me and also request you to impose the heavy penelties to the Aircell for not providing the services and to misguiding and misbehaving to the customers . Hoping your immediete action against the Air cell so they will not chit the customers in future which will provide me the releif. This is Sirkanth here from Sion-Mumbai. I'm also facing the same problem right now with Aircel though i cleared all my bills and asked them to cancel the number, they cancelled it but now i got a legal notice.
And sadly now i'm in Dubai working here and don't have any clue how to deal with this issue.
Can anyone of you help me in dealing with this legal notice.

For me too this same problem from Aircel
When I called for this false notice the manager said that it will be rectified but they suddenly sent a legal notice.
I dont know why the customer care is not taking care of this.
Without processing the customer issue They sent a legal notice...
