Airtel 3G Data Usage — 2G charged as per 3G | |||
Hi All, I have a corporate postpaid SIM from Airtel mobile services. For the month of August 2011(20Jul-20Aug) i have been charged unreasonably. I had enabled a 2G connection & after 2 weeks i enabled 3G mobile services. For 2G i had selected a 99RS package with 2GB of data download free. For 3G i had selected a 250MB free download package. However, airtel consumer care have been disconnecting my calls when i ask why i have been charged extra. The issue is that once the 3G package was enabled they have disabled the 2G package which i had chosen and the worst part i was not informed. I was under the impression that i have both 2G & 3G package enabled. They have stated that i have used 380+MB of data for august out of which most are on 2G network. It has been days now that i have been escalating this issue but with no help. Also as per the itemised bill that i have attached they claim that i have used internet upto the 12th of Aug 2011. But i remember getting a msg from them that i have used 92% of my limit on 18th Aug 2011. Please help me as the billing is unreasonable and i feel helpless now.
