I too face this problem and purely AirTel lying to lure money from the customers i guess. Before buying this mobile i am contacting the 121 and to the blackberry department 7070 and inquired.
They said once i use the blackberry phone and send some sms with enough balance the service will be activated.
but after spending Rs.14, 500/- for a blackberry handset and Rs.1000/- for a recharge when i contacted them, they are telling that prepaid blackberry system in failure and they don't know when it will be activated. When i surf i find lot of people are suffering more than 2+ months.
So i feel no fresh activation is taking place and purely when ever some one calls them they are keen on collecting the money i guess.
AirTel be responsible for customers. with our support only you have grown to this heights and main share for u comes from the prepaid department.
Respect us first before looking ur postpaid.
If they had say BB only for postpaid, i would put hold the use of blackberry at the moment i would have gone to some other smartphone or else to a other options. but after spending Rs.1000/- to them if i go for a postpaid i will loose my money .
So who is responsible for the losses ??? Here many people have lost their money. AirTel Part we have a executive here to answer the issue.
