Airtel Broadband — Billing and Shifting

I had shifted my residential premises and requested for connection to be relocated. Airtel did honour that in a few days time after receiving all documentatins. Unfortunately since 6 months i had been trying to get the address changed so that i can receive bills on time and nothing happend. I escalated to their escalation dept., but everytime it was a blanket promise that the bills will reach the same day and apologies... frustrated i disconnected. On top of this after disconnection, i got the bills and the courier representative was showing faces to my family which is the most irritating part. If companies cannot take care basic address update i wonder how they will handle technical problems!!!! God Bless Airtel!!

Airtel Broadband — Getting Hrassened calls from Airtel

I requested on 12Th & 15 TH May to disconnect my landline number, but no one turn up till 19 th and i shifted my home. Instead of disconnecting my phone i am getting Hrassened calls from airtel for submitting the bill. "THE PEOPLE AT AIRTEL ARE TALKING IN VERY RUDE MANNER." I got a call from[protected].
I am allotted 256 kbps speed on my broadband connection but speed of downloading is very slow.In the bill rs.649 plans of broadband & they add additional charge .its reason i am not happy with that connection, now what will be do

Airtel — Airtel Broadband new connection cancelled by Airtel and advance money Not paid

Hi,
We have paid Rs 1000/- for the Airtel Broad band connection on 4 April09 to the Airtel representative Mahesh and the connection is still not received to our address. Inspite of Chasing several times, They requested to log several complaints and on chaising on them they dont have update and logs a new compiant one after other. Called the representatives and got no response and gave false update that the cheques has been delivered on 16 May to my address throug a courier service . after a week when I asked for the status of the complaint, there was not update of who was updated the lcomplaint last time.
Kindly take corrective actions as its happening for most of the customer.

Airtel Broadband — Billing problems

The complaint is on their billing. In Nov-09, I got this connection installed. This was a combo pack where I was told that I would have 200 free calls and 2 GB download in the Internet. They also told me that STD calls would be at Rs. 1 per pulse. However they hid the information that one pulse was 30 seconds not a minute. Where the whole world was paying Rs.1 per minute on STD calls I billed double.

When I detected the same, I complained. Nothing happened and in the process my line got disonnected on the 28th of April. In the mean time, I paid all their bills (on 27th of May 2009) and requested for a cancellation. Now Airtel tells me the following:

One Mr. Prabhu visited us on the 11th of May (not possible as we were in Kerala then) and changed the plan to 799 plan. They say that the line was activated then. (I dont understand how this is possible with out the clearence of the outstanding). Now I get a revised charge of Rs. 490/- which has to be paid on the 16th of June 2009. I tried complaining but no responce. They are now following the same old strategy.

Request you to intervene and clear this at the earliest.

My Airtel Broadband No is [protected]..i have been getting continuous calls from airtel collection department..i Was nt well so i cud nt make paymnt online and everymnth i usually pay my bills around 5th or 6th of every month since i gets paid on either of these 2 dates..
on 4th june around 11:30 AM a guy from airtel collection deparetment called more then 10 time n that was really a Harassment to us...my younger sister tld that person that she will update me abt d bill n will ge it paid ASAP..after that still that person called again n again that was totally unacceptable n rediculous..if in case its nt rectified m filing a law suite next...

i have given a request to customer care centre regarding discontinuation of connection 4 month before ...they have told me that my no is now not working still airtel peoples are sending the phone bills at my adress

Airtel — clarification on bill

I have called the cc for seeking a clarification on my may 09 landline bill...the cc exc gave me a ref number ga028695_dsl 20744796 and said i will get a call by 11th june 09...till date no one has called...and when you call again they will just say pls hold..and will cooly disconnect...half the crowd cannot speak our hindi language clearly...forget their speaking HINGLISH...

Here I would like to bring in notice the fraud done by Airtel.

We called up Airtel to collect the payment and Airtel executive came to collect it. My wife was there at home. Collection agent sprayed some liquid and then asked my wife to sign the chaque. She signed the chaque and after that collection agent fled away with the chaque and withdrawn Rs 10000/- from her account.

Now we contacted Airtel regional office in Noida and got a response from management that they are not able to trace the collection agency.

For us, that collection agent was the Airtel executive and ultimately Airtel is responsible for all this.

Can anyone suggest how can I get my money back.

Airtel Broadband — Bill Without Service

Sir,
I was using Airtel landline Connection ([protected][protected]@airtelbroadband.in ).
Due to faulty cable connection, I could’t use Airtel Service in Feb09 onwards, I made complaints many times regarding this but in vein .
Now they sent me bill ( Including rents ) of the period ( I havn’t used internet due to airtel poor service).
They gave me wrong Information that adjustment will be made in next bill & I pay Rs 1000/ on 10th feb09 without using connection.
I am attaching two mails, I sent to airtel, & for that I receive no response.

Plz do the needful in this regard.

Up to Dec 08 everything was ok .i made first complaint in dec about very slow speed of internet but I got no response.
In Jan09 Due to road construction work cable was broken than I made a complaint regarding this.
One Airtel employee come & joined cable temporarly but again it part off, I made again 2 complaints but no permanent solution given.
in Jan & feb 09 i haven't used Airtel connection due to frequent troubleshoot of the cable.My connection remain dead in Jan09 & feb09.
For conformation u can check my Usage details as attached.

I talked too many times to yor Udhyog Vihar Office, call centre & sec14 Airtel office.Every time they commit to correct the connection & make adjustment but nobody resolved.

I talked too many persons regarding the following issue but nobody resolve the problem.
If i have not used the Airtel service due to airtel fault then why should i pay the bill.All the airtel executives commit to resolve the prob but in vein.Mostly saying that pay the current bill then adjustment will made in next bill.in Jan09 to till now I am not able to use your service, in Jan& Feb09 there are cable fault due to some construction work on road..
I became frustrated to talk too many executives regarding this, I don't have ph instrument thats why i have to call frm my mobile (~ 200Rs wasted on this talk )
Adjust my bill as per usage & reduce rental of the period I haven't used connection.
This is my last hope to mail u...just check the detail

Airtel is a fraud company.

I called up the payment guy to collect the payment for my broadband connection and also gave him a written application for disconnection of the services as I was shifting from there.

After a month i started recieving mails for the bill payment. I continously kept calling the Airtel customer care saying that my connection is not active and I have paid the full amount. They said they havent received any payment, and then I provided them with the check No. Post that they still kept sending me bills which I ignored and NOW THEY HAVE FILED A CASE AGAINST ME FOR CHEAT AND FRAUD...

PLSSSSSSSSSSSSS Help...What Should I Do...

As here in Bangalore, Airtel seems to have good service.I applied for the connection of Broadband 799 ul plan on 12th march'09, and the connection was made in 12hours.Since then there hasnt been any problem of disconnection or phone not working.I just want relocation to my new address, hope they carry out in time(I have applied for it today).

Airtel Broadband — fraud executive in airtel broadband service

i have booked airtel broaband connection on 26-5-09 and paid the executive 850 rs .on the 27-5-09 another call came to me rom airtel saying tht if i book two connection then only they will give me connection and their executive came to my home and taken 500 rs . on 2-6-09 i get a call saying tht my area is negative and connection is not possible over here and when i ask for money they told me tht we have buyed a bike and are not having any money and other execuvite told me that he had spend all his money in the airtel party, i have called their executive more than 45 times each but they all are just giving me excuses when a called customr care they too were also not help ful and simply disconnect my call.today is 29-6-09 and till now i have not recieved my money and when i called their executives they started using foul language and life threatining calls started to came from them .i am very upset and i need a help from consumer court .

applied for broadband on 2nd July 2009 — Interrelating with the other connections

Respected Sir,
This is to bring in your kind notice that I have applied for a broadband connection on 2nd July 2009, for which I had made my payment through cheque which is cleared.
I had closed my shop for rennovation on 31st January 2009. I had 3 STD connection in the name of Mona Kumar numbered 4611334, 4611337 and 4611338. For the disconnection I had submitted my application to Mrs Anchal on 4th February 2009. There was some amount outstanding towards that numbers. I had paid security of Rs 3500 at the the time of installation and all the installation charges were paid by me in the bills. Further I humbly requested your staff that kindly make adjustments of my outstandings in the security with your company.
Now when I had paid Rs. 1000 regarding new broadband connection, they are inter mingling this connection with the previous issues which is not fair.
Now they are denying me of the broadband connection as they are forcing me to pay the outstandings and they are now saying that our computers do not reflect any security. Kindly consider my complaint as where my security is gone.
Your staff is harrassing me. Will I get justice or shall I feel cheated by your staff. There are numerous other complaints but I think it won't do any good. I have been insulted by your staff many a times.
PRIVATE SECTOR was set to provide better service as government departments lacked this, but to my astonishment, staff of private sector is getting even worse in their dealings.

I don't know whether this compliant of mine will be dealt with, but when some of your personnal tries to go in the depth, you will have to sack many of your employees
