Airtel Broadband — Billing and Shifting

I had shifted my residential premises and requested for connection to be relocated. Airtel did honour that in a few days time after receiving all documentatins. Unfortunately since 6 months i had been trying to get the address changed so that i can receive bills on time and nothing happend. I escalated to their escalation dept., but everytime it was a blanket promise that the bills will reach the same day and apologies... frustrated i disconnected. On top of this after disconnection, i got the bills and the courier representative was showing faces to my family which is the most irritating part. If companies cannot take care basic address update i wonder how they will handle technical problems!!!! God Bless Airtel!!

The Broadband connection providded by Airtel - tel. No:4226651 (Noida) is frequently getting down resulting in putting all broadband communication in great missery. Today, on 18th Feb 2010, we have lodged a formal complaint at around 2.30 pm and it is responded that the broadband line will be rectified by tomorrow around 11 am. In brief we have to suffer 20 hours without broadband connection.

Whenever the Airtel broadband connection is DOWN, it will take minimum 24 hours to rectify the problem.

Pls rectify our problem immedtly as otherwise we have to search for better options .

Airtel Broadband — Airtel is annoying people by their internal matters

AIRTEL Vs. S.L TOWER Greater Noida.

I have just buy an Airtel broad band connection in my commercial office in S.L Tower Greater Noida. after a five days annoying relation with airtel sales we got our first success by this website, "https://www.consumercomplaints.in" thanks for making such a good website, we got the internet connection.

Now after connection the very next day we started our PC and guess what we have got disconnected our Airtel connection. we move deep inside the matter and contacted to our S.L Tower welfare office, then office manager said AIRTEL is UNAUTHORIZED in our tower, many people came from airtel including lineman to installation manager( Mr Aneesh khan ) but no one get success to connect our broadband. and its second day and we still waiting for someone who can start our connection. our tower manager is saying that they do not have any permission to come into our tower whereas Airtel people are saying that we have more then 30 connection in this tower so how it is possible that we make connection for whole the building?

what so ever the fight is in between the TOWER MANAGERS and the AIRTEL so i really do not know who will help us into this matter as no one is picking our phone from airtel side and if we are calling at customer care then they put our phone at hold and after two to three minutes they cut off our phone without giving any answer.. so its very first time that we are in such a situation with airtel where as i was really very happy with airtel services but now by this matter i am really very upset and do not know who will listen my complaint and help me out.

Airtel Broadband service - Sucks
I had applied for broadband connection on 13th of Feb 2010.
My customer Enrollment Form Number is : 2112218
I made a payment of Rs. 3900/- through cheque (No is : 024451). I have checked with my bank and found that cheque is cleared and amount (Rs 3900) has been debited from my a/c.
I have called many times in the call center initially they were saying that you'll get connection in a day or two but today when I called up was really shocking for me they were saying no detail found against this form number.
Airtel – Please do the needful and provide me my broadband connection otherwise I’ll go to consumer court and will take a legal action against Airtel and will write in blogs on social networking sites.

I paid 500 for Airtel broadband connection on 28 th of Jan 2010 and till now no response from the team
i m the subscriber of airtel broadband service my problem is that i want know our account balance of our landline connection but it is not provided easly to the customer.

Airtel Broadband — only money minded no customer service

i had a connection from the past 10 days before, i just change my house nearly 1km am ringing the sales person to communicate the new address to transfer connection to that address,they did't pickup the phone from the past 2 days that 2 guys from the airtel, no one can pickup there is no prob's with us they did't want the call from the existing customer how can they sales their product they dont want referrence with existing one this is a very poor service these kind of guys are spoiling the airtel banner am really hearted......

My Name is Ajeet Singh. I have applied for Airtel Broadband connection in Hyderabad Madhapur Area.My problem logging Id (call ID[protected].Two Airltel Sales guy one Named as Kumar and another person's name I do not know came to collect my papers and cheque and on Saturday 27th Feb. 2010.At that time both told me that they will install the connection on Sunday next day. I thought that is very good. In the evening, I have cancelled my earlier reliance Netconnect connection and another reliance phone number. Sunday. in the morning, I got the call from Airtel to confirm my address and other details, and I was told that it will get completed in the afternoon. I was at home waiting for the Airtel team nobody came. In the evening when, I called I was told that it will be installed on the next day i.e. Monday i.e. on HOLI. But nobody turned up when I called up Airtel broadband office, I was told it takes 4 days to install. They told me that it will install by Wednesday but nothing happened. When called up again airtel and after repeatedly asking they give my problem logging Id (call ID[protected] and told me that It will get resolved by Thursday i.e 4th March 2010. However when today (Friday 5th March 2010) when I called up them, after taking my call ID they are not responding. I am fade with this Airtel Broadband treatment, I want my money back. However I have not faced any problem from Airtel for my Airtel Mobile and Airtel DTH connection so far. But this one is horrible experience.

Yes, I did receive a call to confirm that the speed has been activated.
However, I fail to understand that just like your techs you too fail to take

Hi Team,



I have been calling Airtel relentlessy for the past few days with regards
to the Airtel offer "Delight" only for namesake.



I sent a SMS based on converstation with one of the agent on 19th Feb. I
received a message that it would get activated by 96 hours and I said fine
and after that I called Airtel umpteen number of times and each time I was
told new stories for this. Recent converstation with the team gave me a
number that was 30149354. I received a confirmation message that it was
closed as resolved. When I checked at my end it was still showing the same
speed hence I have been again calling the customer care regarding this and
evertime I receive an answer that it would be resolved.



This issue still is unresolved and it's a pathetic state where no one has
proper information. When I had called earlier for the same request no on
told me that 96 hours are like 12 working days which is only 9:30 to 6:30
everyday. For a company with such a magnitude, its strange to understand
that there is no mention in the message that 96 hours means 12 working
days.



4th March called CS and they raised a complaint with backend team and it
will take another 7 working days as per Pravin Naik dated 7/3/2010

As per Arun Kumar the floor manager he said the working hours are
calculated as 9:30 to 6:30 everyday instead of 24 hrs for a company working
24/7.



Please let me know at the earliest if this issue can be resolved or should
I go with some other service provider who can keep up promises.

I applied for an Airtel Broadband connection on 28th of February, 2010 and still I have not yet got any response from the people nor the Broadband connection. When I tried to call them, one the phone number wont be reachable or they will tell will check the status and call back, but they wont call back. I didn't expect this from the Airtel people.

Airtel Broadband — Non-Refund of Money

I had registered for availing Airtel Broadband services for my computer at home. Airtel sent a technician home to complete the formalities of the connection. He collected all the documents required for setting up the connection and informed me that the connection will be setup within a week. However, the connection never got setup. I had paid them a fee of Rs. 1500/- towards installation charges of a wireless modem. However, it has been more than 2 weeks now and i have not yet received the refund.

They have not even followed up with us to provide any status updates. I have had to call them multiple times without any results.

I have spoken to the Airtel Branch supervisor (Guruprasad) at Electronics city. His mobile number is [protected]. He had informed me that the money will be refunded within a week. It has been more than 2 weeks now and there has been no response from Airtel. When i spoke to him earlier today, he informed me that he is out of station and will not be able to help me. I want to file a formal complaint againt Airtel for the inconvienience caused and need help in recovering the intial deposit of Rs. 1500.

Airtel Broadband — heavy charges of billing

I TOOK A CONNECTION OF AIRTEL BROADBAND UNDER THE SCHEME OF RS.999 PER MONTH. THEY ASKED TO DEPOSIT RS.2250 AS SECURITY. AND TOLD ME THAT EVERYTHING IS INCLUDED IN THIS. AND I WILL GET MONTHLY BILL OF RS.999 ONLY WITH UNLIMITED USAGE OF INTERNET AND UNLIMITED DOWNLOAD. AIRTEL DIGITAL TV CONNECTION WAS ALSO INCLUDED IN IT. BUT JUST AFTER 15 DAYS THEY SANCTIONED A BILL OF RS.1103. THEY ALSO OFFERED 100 RS. TALKTIME FREE WITH THE SCHEME BUT NOW THEY ARE CHARGING FOR THE CALLS EVEN WHEN WE JUST CONSUMED RS.13 OF CALL.
THE PROFFESIONAL WHO CAME FROM AIRTEL AND WHO OFFERED US THIS CONNECTION IS MR.RAJESH. THEY ARE PUTTING DIFFERENT CHARGES OF DIFFERENT THINGS WHICH WERE NOT DISCLOSED WHILE GIVING THE CONNECTION. MY TELEPHONE NO. IS 4033931. I DEPOSITED RS.2250 AS SECURITY ON 25.2.10 IN CASH REFRENCE TO RECEIPT NO.1013038 AND THAT IS BEFORE DUE DATE BUT THEY ARE PUTTING HEAVY CHARGES IN SHAPE OF LATE FEE AND TAX ON EVERYTHING. I AM HUMILATED AND I FEEL HARRASED. THE PEOPLE FROM AIRTEL ARE VERY ARROGANT . Private companies are given a free hand by these fools in the government. Do they have any control on Bharathi, Reliance, Tata etc.. As long as they get funds to the party they will even sweep the houses of these private sector bigwigs.

Airtel Broadband — Harassment by Sales/Activation Team

I am Arun Pareek. I have recently relocated to Bangalore and I am staying in CV Raman Nagar. I saw an ad from one of the Airtel Sales guys regarding Airtel Broadband (Madhan : [protected] and Maruthi: [protected]) who had then collected my documents and advance rental for 5 months which was Rs. 4500.

After this they gave me all false commitments for installation. Many a times they said me that they are coming to install the broadband at my house but they never came. They have wasted at least 4-5 days of my time in it. Finally when the technical team came to install they left my place in mess with all messy wirings. It was such an inconvenience that they had installed a phone and router in such a manner that i could not even move my laptop an inch. When i asked for a longer cable they denied it. On further argument they started saying that if you dont require the connection then dont take we have a lot of customers. I asked for a refund of my money and they asked me to get in touch with the sales team.

The sales team of Madhan/Maruthi has stopped picking up my phone thence. I have tried calling them a number of times and still they dont pick up my phone.

This is disgusting as far as a company like Airtel is concerned. Looks like they have no customer priorities in mind and the way they deal with small customers is awful.

Airtel Broadband — Negligence of service

My name is Sandeep. I'm staying at BTM 2nd stage, Bangalore. I've applied for an Airtel broadband connection on 25th February 2010. The Airtel representative whom I've called, came to my place filled the application for new broadband connection , took Rs500/- for installation charges, necessary proofs and documents from me and told me that I'll get the internet connection on 27th of february.

Its been three weeks from now and I still haven't got the internet connection. Every time I call them, they tell me some reasons and disconnect the call. I've spent Rs 300/- for phone calls only. They're neither providing me the broadband connection nor returning my money. I've requested, pleaded them to provide me the internet connection as it was very necessary for me.

I really feel embrassed. It seems they are cheating me. The application number for my broadband connection is, TBLR0085261. Below is the name and phone number of that Airtel representative is , Praveen ,[protected] and his Team Leader , Shyam-[protected].

Because of few employees like these, the entire Airtel brand name will be affected.
I request Airtel to go through these type of cases and take action on the employees before they could completely ruin the Airtel goodwill.
