Airtel Broadband Chennai — Denial of payment

Hi sir, My name is sathish kannan and i'm from chennai. I'm here to lodge a complaint against Airtel Broadband Services chennai on denying our payment for the month of April to June of the year 2013. The beginning of the story is from the year Jan 2011, that is when we got our Airtel Broadband connection. We have instructed about the payment for the broadband services ,that we can pay through online , or by dropping cheque or by paying bills through the Airtel outlets, or by paying through a cash collecter. Due to some reasons we sometimes payed our bill through an cash collector, who is a an executive from Airtel, who will collect the amount from us for the Airtel Company. In the mid march of 2012, we have faced a problem on the payment, to be precise we have payed the bill through an airtel outlet(Ashok nagar branch, chennai, Tamilnadu), and the later a person from a customer care stated that we are due for the month which we already paid to that Airtel outlet, but that time we were saved bcoz we had our receipt in our hands, so i informed them about the details and the mode of payment to that person. Even at that time we had received several calls from airtel executives regarding the due payment and again which we already paid, we were so disappointed that, how can a company that has so much of popularity and profit and then not being so effective on gathering information or going through the particulars of an customer before claiming or questioning them, To be frank they were so pathetic at that time. Later time has passed and we were about to shift our house on june 2013, so we took the step to inform the airtel customer care executives on disconnecting the broadband connection. At that time i remember that we were due for the month of may and june. By 19th of june we shifted our house and by 23rd of june we payed our outstanding bill through an Cash collector (Vasudevan), who came to our house and collected the amount by cash, the amount is approximately 2500rs. Days have passed and about a three week later we recieved a call from the Airtel customer care executives, stating that our bills for the month may and june are due which we already paid. We have clearly stated them about the payment mode and person who collected the cash form us, Unfotunatley we have lost our payment reciept, so i had convince them about our position, But after a few days we came to know that we are speaking to deaf ears..so we started to stick to our point that we have actually paid our bill. One day when i was not in my home, my mother who is an heart patient received a call from the airtel customer care executive his name is (Aravindan) form the number, where they threatened my mother that they will send some goondas to our house and the will collect the money, they also threatened her with legal points. When i got home i came to know the problem that torchered her mind. Since we are a middle class family, we have no contacts with any higher officers like Police or military and for sure we dont have contacts with any goondas and aliens too. So i lodged a complaint in the consumer forum about my problem, but again the problem has not been cleared, without any options left, i requested the airtel executives to search for the person who collected the cash from us in their database or by gathering information at that particular office at that particular date (Ashok nagar branch). But they denied to accept my request instead they insisted me to pay the amount of 2500Rs again. On behalf o f my family and me i'm requesting the Airtel services to look into my matter and Help us. We still believe that some good human beings are living in this world, having that in mind we request someone who cares for the person who love his mother and his family, or for the mother who is an heart patient and a good human being or for a citizen of this country who still hopes that law of this indian constitution is not dead. Please Help us.... I hereby giving this information with my prior knowledge and also full mental stabilty. Iam also giving you some information about the calls and numbers who threatened us or giving some probnlems to us.. See Below for details, Thank you very much. God bless all. The Broadband connection was under the name of Mrs M.Samundeeswari. (My mother) Our Airtel Connection Address No 5/3, 13th street, ashok nagar, chennai-600083, Tamilnadu, India. The person who collected our cash from my mother is Vasudevan, He is working for airtel (ashok nagar branch, chennai) The person who threatened my mother is Aravindan(Airtel, Ashok nagar, chennai) The no.. we received calls [protected] [protected] [protected] [protected] Please provide as much information as possible...
