Airtel — Broadband Internet service disruption and not addressed by Airtel

- Continues disruption of Broadband service from Airtel
- After repeated complaints also no resolution provided.
- Field engineers are randomly closing the complaints without resolving the issue
and without the confirmation from customer.
- Field engineers are misbehaving with the consumers
- Filed three complaints with in 3 days as below but no resolution

32839352 5/16/2013 Closed by airtel without anybody vising my house or even didn't talk to me before closing the complaint
32939558 5/18/2013 Field engineer visited my house, did a software upgrade in modem but closed the complaint without my confirmation
32951698 5/18/2013 Called customer care and described every earlier issue, and they simply opened a new complaint but no action.

Please help me dealing with Airtel and save me from form the harassment done by Airtel.

Airtel Broadband — Complaint not addressed

I have a Airtel Broadband connection numbered[protected], Account Number[protected] since the last 3 year.

Recently on June 30th 2011 I changed my residence and thereby requested for a transfer of the same above mentioned connection.

The connection was restored on 14 Aug 2011.


Subsequently I received a bill on September 2011. but there was a mistake in the bill as the billing period was mentioned from 26-July-2011 to 25-Aug-2011. As during this period I have not used the service of Airtel as it was not restored to my new residential address, I lodged a complain in Airtel Customer Care on 17-Sep-2011.

The registered complaint number is 4228492 on 17-Sep-2011. Since then every week I have been calling Airtel Customer Care for resolution of the problem but as of today also it has not been resolved.


I have even escalated this to your escalation department and was assured by Mr. Syed that this would be resolved within 2-3 days and I would be receiving call from your back office but till today no calls have been received by me.


I fail to understand how can it take Airtel to resolve any issue so long now that it is more than a month, This seems to be a question mark on the Competency and Integrity of your work.


I hope that Airtel becomes a little serious and addresses customer problems. I am sorry to say but off late Airtel Customer Care has become a joke and full of insensitive people who do not care to address customers problem.


During the period when my connection was not transferred I got calls from Airtel for new connection which they promised to install in the very next day, however when I reminded your customer care executives of my pending transfer request I was told it would take time, How is it possible that you can give new connection within a day or two but to transfer a connection you take more than a month. Is this not harassment of customers.


Please ensure good services to your customers who have been associated with you for long.


Hope that my problem would be looked into and resolved as soon as possible with high priority.

Airtel is simply is giving false assurance. My issue has not yet been looked into.
Even though the urgency had been conveyed after 3 complaints.

Again and again the same problem is created by Airtel. This time also you guys closed my complaint with number 32966654 on 19th May with out resolving the issue. So on what basis you are saying that you need some more time to solve my issue.
Nobody called or visited my house but my complaint got closed. Please answer this what rubbish is going on.
