My Name is Ashish and I am having AIRTEL brodband connection for quite some time. My landline number is 08040905566.
In the last month bill , they have added something called as Smart bytes activation of 799rs.
I am using internet at my home and I do not remember activating it also.
They are saying I have activated it on 25th april. My billing cycle starts from 11th april to 10th may. My download limit is 75 GB with 2mbps connection. I argued with customer care on the following things:
a. I know how to use internet and I have never done activation of SmartBtyes for my account
b. Why would i activate smart byte if i have 75 GB of download limit , that too in the span of 14 days (11th april to 25th april), if you are saying so, pls provide me the detailed bill usage for the last month so that i can come to know when i exhausted 75 GB of download limit
c. If AIRTEL is saying that i have activated it, you need to provide me SUBSTANTIAL PROOF for the same. what is the guarantee that in the next month, you say the same thing stating that I have again activated it and charge me again.
d. I did not get any email or sms for the smart byte activation, so i did not know that they are charging me for this. for every small things, we get sms/email alert, why not for this one.
I have said it very clear that I will not be able to make the payment unless they provide substantial proof.
Pls look into this if you can.
