[Resolved]  Airtel — Issues issues

AirTel service Shucks
Since November I'm running behind 198 service with loads of complaints and tracking one on one as my full time project.

Few of my issues are

I hold this Airtel connection for about 2.5 years under corporate scheme and I was happy with service till November 2008. In recent times I have been put under lot of trouble and stress with Airtel Network and customer care handling.

I have to spend about 2 hours to 3 hours a week registering a compliant with Airtel and track it, finally nothing productive. The stress and frustration I face are countless. I’m trying to list few

#Multiple disconnection of calls mid of the STD conversation and landing in extra 2 minutes charges for each disconnection.
#Disturbing cross talk over conversation and have to disconnect to avoid it.
#On dialing a particular person, I got connected to other existing unknown conversation as a third party and the other person whom I called receives a blank call.
#My issues yet to be resolved
#On Jan17, 2009, a resolution offered to me on GPRS issue that I will have STD 150 units waiver but I don’t see it reflected in my February bill. Now if I call back asking for this waiver, Airtel customer care executive’s goes blank and says there was no any such resolution made.
#On Jan27, 2009 I was promised to activate the STD 1 Re pack by Jan 31st and it wasn’t done. I spent nearly 4hours talking to customer care and service manager tracking it (nobody trusts the customer and I was totally frustrated convincing AirTel the fact) multiple times and got it done by Feb3rd and was again promised a deduction of charges for STD calls made between Jan31st to Feb3rd, yet to see it being done. The reason for delay in activation was due to server issue[Ref. ID: 27015490]
#I receive a call back from customer care on these issues and the person over call was totally clueless about all this earlier promises and tried to convince me that there weren’t any promises. Even I reached out to the AirTel outlet (BSK 11 Stage) to get these issues clarified on March 1st and he promised me to get back on these issues on or before March 3rd and I’m yet to receive a call back.
#I receive a clarification call from Customer care while I’m in roaming and I get charged for it. (I had a roaming incoming call on March 5th from 12345 for about 30 mins and again nothing productive, waste of time and loss of my time)
#I’m not able to make my bill payment online since today morning and I get a constant message ‘try later’, today is my bill due date.

April month, i have not received my bill. But my outstanding is over stated and no resolution for any complaints made.

So i have mailed the following to Airtel...

Despite this issue being acknowledged by you, that there is an issue which needs to be addressed, and bill due date being postponed, I get a warning message that my credit limit is reached and AirTel service will be discontinued on crossing the limit. You better look in to this issue and not frustrate the customers unnecessarily. You may wish I get back to 198 service then and then I face a problem and get it resolved. But it really irritates to do so and waste my valuable time with your horrible network. I would suggest you avoid such nuisances or please cancel my connection. I’m least bothered about continuing your service for the sake of maintaining the number. I reach your 198 service at least thrice a month and have complaints to be resolved which really shucks.

I don’t see any value for customers at AirTel anymore and I’m left with only loads of stress and frustrations and I don’t see any value for my time at AirTel.
