[Resolved] Airtel — SIM Activation | |
Dear Sir, I have purchased a mobile from Subhikha which is having free airtel connection along with it. This was on 11.05.2008. The mobile number given was [protected]. I was been told that within a day the connection will get activated. Now its almost 2 days still the connection is not been activated. Within these 2 days i have called many times to airtel customer care 121 and each time a get a different reply. One says that the documents are not submitted other says we are working on it and other says that there is a problem with airtel system Was this information helpful? | |

I have purchased a prepaid card from retail Shop. This was on 08.02.2010. The mobile number given was [protected] & SIM NO was[protected]. He told that within a 15 min. i will activation for your connection

my out going and incomming calls was barred since from 12 days, i consult the person who has given me the sim,I give him two times my photo and iddentiti proof ( driving lincence) but their is no response & sys take other sim.
i hope my problem will be rectified

Airtel Mobile Services — After buying the SIM, Airtel disabled my sim and asking me to buy a new one
Hi ,Airtel mobile services are using a very unethical marketing Approach for earnings.
Few days back I purchased a SIM and after one week they disabled my SIM and asking me to buy a new one . I was surprised when I asked the reason, the customer care simply told that the SIM is recycled and can not be used. The only solution I got is "Buy a New SIM" ....
This is really a pathetic and harassing situation from Mobile Providers .....
Please avoid using Connection from Airtel, whenever possible ...

I totally agree with you. These guys do not E of Ethical Behavior. Same thing happened to one of my friends - Kushagra.
He was totally in need for SIM as he had to attend various interviews and he could not get a single call for that weekend because Airtel had sraped off his SIM.
Airtel Guys, this is high time you pay attention to individual customers like Shashank and Kushagra. These are probably few of the millions of sufferers.
