Airtel — non compliance of the service

I am following up with the Airtel Gallery at Panvel since 20th Sep '08 for switchover from post paid to prepaid. I had cleared the bill in cash on 20th sep '08 and I was handed over the new SIM card also by the staff at the galery. However till date the job is not done. Every time I am told that the system is not working and it will take 48 hrs. The staff at the Panvel Gallery never bother to give me the complaint number untill today till I raise my voice. I was given a number [protected] for registering the complaint which is continuely busy since morning. Even they do not bother to callback by seeing the missed number on the mobile.

Beleave me, we are at the murcy of the staff at the Gallries of Airtel and there is no one who can controll them.
