[Resolved]  Airtel / Customer Care — Don't trust Airtel!

This is bhanu chander s/o J. Raju, i have took the simwith one year incomming payable amount is 398 Ruppes.

my out going calls was barred since from 9 days, i consult the person who has given me the sim, but their is no response & correct answer with him.

Because of my brother suggestion i selected the airtel sim but at the initial period only i am facing problem, i hope my problem will be rectified

With regard and with respect i would like to complaint on the following grounds.
That I have the sim of the Airtel with the Mobile no [protected], I am much pleased with the schemes and services. But to me it is surprising that every month 30 Rs is deducted from my account, though i am not running any yahoo services any more. Though for this matter time and again I have tried to contect Airtel customer services. They have given us certain instructions. for example on the date on 14/06/08 at 1:20 o'clock i have contected customer care regarding the the deduction of 30 Rs of yahoo services despite not using. They responded and asked me to SMS on 58243 by writing YUNHUB. In that SMS I cost 3 Rs. but still the deduction of monthly unwanted charges are still going on and on the date 16/07/08, once again 30 Rs is cutted off from my account. This is a matter that happens with my balance, that i have to pay for what i am not at all using.

Do kindly investigate and search for the reasons, as i am not at all pleased with the customer care services and their answers. If it continues to be deducted, then from the next month as my validity of the sim get's expires. I shall have to purchase the sim of the other company.

Please do investigate about that matter and do phone or sms for redressal of my grievance.

I am Col K L Jaspal. My airtel mob No. is [protected]. I took a plan of Rs. 998/- last year. I do not remember exact month/date.
However, on completiion of one year, the Rirtel staff/officials on their own gave me some other plan, the details of which never communicated by them. it is highly unbecomming on the part of airtel. they must have visited me discussed what plan I need and taken my consent. Or, if the airtel expected me to contact and I failed to do so; the Airtel should have disconnected my number. Since, I did not remember month/date of connection and I did not contactact the airtel; whereas some plan has been given to me by staff/officials of airtel, in this case I will not pay the bill. in such cases, either the Co. have to bear the loss of such bills or the concerned staff have to pay the same. I have spoken to the customercare 121 of airtel on 12 Jul 08 on the subject from my home. I informed him of all these factes. I conveyed that I will not pay the bill, airtel may disconnect my number, if they cannot give me plan of my choice out of the available ones with them. I am coveying the same once again. in case Bhart aitrtel wants to retain me their customer, they must ask some one of their employee Sto talk to me, and obtain my consent for the plan. I am also one of the SCAPEGOAT of the Airtel Customer Serivces.I had pathetic Experinece with Airtel.I lost my Mobile so i visited to Airtel Realtionship center for Blocking of my number and re-issue of dulpicate sim.I submitted all the document and Duplicate sim fee and they told me that you number get activated after fours hours.12x4 passed still My number is not activated.I tried calling 121 to reach customer care but that too was very busy busy line...

I belive there is no attetion given on Customer they built there cutomer base now and they don't need you any more there are 1000's of fool like us who are using this service.
my cell no is [protected] from last 15 days i am getting a message from airtel "thanks for using dada resub services on airtel wap" you are charged rs.10.Every day from my account rs.10 is getting deducted.i called up customer care 5 to 6 times but they couldn't give me proper information.. one of your advisor even told me that i am sending the message to backend office and this service will be deactivated from your numbar within 24hrs.. but nothing happened same thing is going on and on.. today i personally went to airtel gallery (mira road)to place the complaint but the staff over there was useless they are sitting overthere to help the customer, but they were not ready to take my complaint and told me to call customer care from there hotline the person told me to send and sms mentioning this "stop" to this number 56673434. but after sending this message i am facing the same problem.. now should i discontinue your service..

I am shyamprakash having an air tel connection since last february every thing was going fine. I had submitted all the document regarding the same but things gon interrupted sin 25th september. Ther was no any alert call my phon get disconnected when i met with the agent He told sorry boss i can't do any thing.
But i am sking that why it happen although i have submitted all the paper everything but still my phon get disconnjected without any cause. The number that has been get disconnected is [protected]

I agree with the comments posted here and at the same time surprised how this company manage to work, im a prepaid card user and haev been calling airtel customer care for last 3 months as to stop my caller tune and some service known as MKR Trip which i have no clues who activated as i never asked for that.
My balance is deducted everynow and then without any notification.
I am fed of this as at times its really inconvenient, i have spoken to atleast 10 people at the customer care and it was no good.I believe they are paying their agents for nothing, even if they close there centres then too it will not make a difference.
Above this the way the agents speak is ridiculous and irritating above this they even hung up on you...

I am fed up of this...and not getting my phone recharged at all and switching over to another service provider, though i had this connection for 2 yrs, it was nt that bad earlier.

ON THE SATURDAY NIGHT OF 4TH OF OCTOBER I TALKED WITH THE EXECUTIVE AND AFTER A VERBAL AGREEMENT HE COMMITTED TO REPAY MY BALANCE ON THE OTHER DAY
BUT NOTHING WAS RECIEVED MOREOVER WHEN I HAD A TALKED WITH THE EXECUTIVE ON 6TH OF OCTOBER SHE DENIED ABOUT ANY CONFIRMATION AND TOLD ME THAT I HAD TALKED WITH HER SUPERVISOR THE OTHER DAY, BUT I DID NOT .
AND MY LINES TO TALK TO THE CUSTMER CARE IS CURRENTLY BLOCKED .

This airtel service is more than worst and i am totally disagree with its customer service also. I am using this service for last 3 years, cause its net on phone service but today i got two sms that you have subscribed to yahoo zone and you have been charged x y z cost. In fact i didn't request for that. This airtel company is cheating the customers with automated cervice activation.
hi, i am Karan Gambhir...my prepaid number is [protected] and in the evening my today (14th October 2008) my balance got deducted by about 30 Rs for which i did not get ne msg from Airtel.

my balance was sumwhere close to Rs 144 and on checking in the evening my balance was Rs.114.

i tried complaining on the Airtel cutomer care but the executive did not have information about it, and he told me to call after 24 hours.

please note i am not using ANY extra service except for Hello Tunes for which already Rs.200 was deducted from my account.

I want a refund of those Rs.30 !!..its highly annoying.i am really really dissappointed with Airtel and request you to register a complaint from my side, and pls make sure a get a resolution for the same !

My Pre paid mobile no.[protected] has been closed for last 10 days for want of verification. I have deposited all the papers with their outlet at Dwarka Sector 5. The phone has not yet been started. Call centres are nothing but to befool the innocent people.

I am frustrated. I will do the maximum possible negative Publicity against Airtel and I can influence 1000 Post paid and pre-paid connections of Airtel by virtue of my position.

I have asked the Airtel authority to Deactivate My Dadanet Service about one month ago but of no use. nOW i 'M TRYING TO GET SIM OF OTHER PROVIDER.They havent shown any cooperation . I have lodged the complaint bcoz earlier I was using Dadanet ut thhen when I asked the Airtel to deactivate it they havent cooperated. It pained me a lot . Now within few days if they will not b deactivating my dadanet I will go for other provider.

hi i am shameer, an airtel customer since 8 years
from the time i have purchased airtel connection it has network problem at my office,
i complaint it for more that 100 time but no response
they just close my complaint all the time without rect. it
and like 15 days back i had a talk on 121 i dont know what was the misscommunication they deactivated my unlimited gprs 499 and now they say they can not activate it as the service is unavailable
i mean what the [censored], they just piss me out
i am a user since years i use to feel that they will support me in all ways but now i feel so bad that i just wish i could switch service provider but because this number being my identity i cant even do that.
customer care executives from airtel talk rudely and didn't talk only.They put me on hold for 15 to 25 min.If i didn't disconnect the call even after hold then they disconnects after a long hold.It happened with me at least 10 to 15 times.My problem related to mobile office service (internet on phone)when i am not getting the service correctly.Please do something about this problem as the customer care exe are not trying to satisfy the customer correctly.Specially at night times. Hope after this complaint I will grt my Problem solved.
