[Resolved]  Airtel Digital TV — HELL CUSTOMER CARE

I have purchased Airtel Digital TV on 28th of August 2011 and my customer id is [protected] .
But i realized the big mistake i made by choosing such a irresponsible company as DTH service provider.
I have following concerns:
1. Some time some channels shows the Connection lost screen (Error Code B0001).
2. In rain as well in drizzling it does not respond and hangs.
3. Whenever I called customer care they give me same stupid solutions :

* Restart your set top box.
* Unplug your cable and reconnect.
* Remove any obstacle in front of Dish.


Really a very bad DTH service provider.I suggest never buy Airtel Digital TV.

Airtel Digital TV — TERMINATED SUBSCRIBED SERVICES BEFORE MATURITY

My CA STB Label is [protected]and card ID is 4038709.I had taken DIGITAL AIRTEL TV of 1year free subscription of Rs.2600/- on March 25, 2009 from Jhankar Agencies, KIDWAI NAGAR and my services were terminated on July 1, 2009 at midnight before the completion of 1 year .My account balance is also not shown correctly on the TV.
I am getting constant messages from some service that sends jokes.
I want this discontinued but nothing has been done about it. The number
I get these sms from is 5432101

Sub :-My Airteldigitaltv Customer ID [protected], STB ID [protected] under "Super Value Pac"

I deposited Rs.2600 in cash on 25.03.2008 for the above connection, which was initiated on 28.03.2009. The deposited amount is valid for one full year. But, after 3 months, I received one SMS stating negative balance and asked to deposit @Rs.11 for "ZeeBangla" channel, which was included in the Pac free for first 3 months only. Now, as per their demand I recharged Rs.50 on Jun, 2009. But, they withdrew the channel from today. I want to restore the channel "ZeeBangla" immediately.

In the mobile daily caller tune is being deducted from the mobile account. And joke messages are being sent which is not necessary. And Re 1.00 is being deduted from the currency, so kindly please cancel the caller tune as well as the joke messages which is coming, from your Airtel Office. Mobile No. [protected]. Please take immediate action and see that it is being cancelled or else we will complain to your Head office.

I have faced a severe problem while recharging my account via credit card, many times I have tried it and after entering the amount >200/- It is redirecting me to customer care. I have faced the same problem via airtel website also for recharge.

Then I got a scrap cards then recharged. The requests which is raised by the customer care is NOT closed properly.

Even after recharging my account for Rs. 400/- I got shocked that I'm unable to see any channels, I called twice/thrice to customer care and they raised an complaint:850102 they told that your problem wil be resolved within two working days. After two working days the problem is still not resolved.

Again, called customer care twice and did all the troubleshooting steps what they asked me to do.

I GOT SHOCKED THAT MY EXISTING COMPLAINT (850102) HAS BEEN CANCELLED GIVEN JUSTIFICATION THE COMPLAINT IS NOT TRUE!! I'm still facing problem and I don't know what to do with this worst service and what to do further!!

Airtel Digital TV — Signal Loss In Rainy days

I have an airtel digital tv connection. its work weel but in rainy days i cant watch my tv bcoz it says signal loss.
I'm using Airtel digital TV and have not faced any problems as mentioned above. I got propmt service rite fro the instalation. I'm surpised regrd the 1st complaints how on earth does his phone bills rise when they have a toll-free no. to be reached at. I always use that no and never had to wait for long. My brother uses Tata Sky...and he is not satisfied with their cust service.

Also the interface and problems arising due to heavy rains, AIRTEL is far much better bcos of the size of the dish hich is bigger than any other DTH providers.

So, guys, trust me, AIRTEL DIGITAL is the BEST so far i experienced.
Only if it is raining heavily, only then you wud lose the signal bcos it is directly intercepted via satelite. I too have airtel DIGITAL, but this is still better than other DTH providers as they wud face this problem even if it rains normaly. The size of the dish for airtel is biger than others.

AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — Service default

I do regular trading in stock market, and I have to keep continues watch on the market, and almost making 10000 to 20000 profit or loss on daily basis.

I have taken this connection ( Customer ID [protected]) 6 months back, assuring me for a full service for the time period. until 6 months I did not have any Problem in the Connection. Once this period was over, it started giving problem. with in a last 5 days, Airtel Set top box has lost the signal twice. I had called up the Customer care executive and logged a complaint, one the fist occasion the engineer came in and provided his service and charged us for Rs300, apart from the regular charges of Rs 100

On the second occasion, today (6th Aug) I had called the customer care executive, informing the lost of signal again, within a time frame of 5 days. I was informed that I would be charged Rs 100 by the Engineer on his visit.since, Our warranty period of 181 days is complete. whereas I can see that there is only a signal lost, and upto my knowledge there can not be any warranty on the services but only on the product. and Signal to the settop box is only the service for which we are paying to Airtel.

I usually sleep by 11 PM, but due to the mental stress given by the customer care executives I am forcefully logging a complaint to the consumer complaints.in expecting a better service to the consumers like me.

Toll free is not reachable. After reaching it is not accepting customer code
One after other the executive keep you on hold and I felt like parrot repeatign the same stuff again & again
Finally while on hold the call hangs up
I wasted 6 hours to no avail

Airtel — Bad Customer Service and Failed to provide DTH Service on the due date

Hi,

I called Airtel service to subscribe for DTH service and I was directed to Aman Telecom (Airtel DTH Distributor) on 6 Aug 09.I paid the an amount of 2500 and serial number [protected] was provided to with a promise of installation on 9/Aug/09 and when I called the distributor (Aman Telecom) I was given a run around.

Looking at the poor service I called Airtel customer and asked for a refund and gthey asked to me speak to the distributor, to which I said that i jusy want the money back and I am not interested in th service.

Looking for help.

Hi, I was having the same problem but mostly i am doing my servicing. Signal problem is mostly from outside antenna. From menu->settings-> signal is there or something like that. I am opening the signal strength menu and going up. both the signal strength should be more than 80%. From antenna i am moving it and trying to find best signal. When i find it i am fixing it properly. Due to rain, wind sometimes it is moving, so no need to pay them. We can do that our self. Just an advice..

I purchased a samsung lcd tv on 14th august they gave a airtel dth service coupan after return home I dialed the airtel dth agent he was not giving proper answer and then he came on 18th august and fixed dth even after 36 hours they were not activate the number . I dailed to them nearly 30 calls mr. gopi one of the person is not giving proper answer so please take immediate action and activate my airtel dth
I expect good news from your side.otherwise i will return the instruments on 20th evening .

they r give toll free no.& mail all r very make the fool of pepole. and
big misket i our law problem they r given licencs those company they r give big chanda & those company r given rehawat to the officers. this company r good & kwon bady r lieson to ur problem.
if matal brthers r bager so why r u those tyep works shame for indian law company r cut the pocket or they r not relaya it.
