[Resolved] Airtel Digital TV — Error Code - B001 | |||
My complaint no is 4554237. I am gettin error code B001 - installation setup since last three days . I was told your call will be attended with a time of 20 hours . Three days have gone nobody has still called or solved the problem . And i get message your problem is solved . When i call them they again give you new complaint no. Service of Airtel Digital TV is really wrost . They are literally fooling customers . It is a recomendation not to take Airtel cnnection or you will suffer a lot. I too have the same error code for past 2 days. And they did not come to fix it till now.

HELLO SIR,I have seen error in cable DTH TV fo last 15 das.I called so many times to customer care for DTH coplaints. but no responcible till today. I am realy angery .but i don't know where i go to ... sir . please help me.

Its simple issue.
you can also resolve it in 2mins.
To resolve.., Please follow this steps.
1.Select channel
2. Go to menu-> Setting->diagnostics->Signal strength
3.There signal strength should be NLT _50%., , Signal quality should be NLT_8%.
4.If it's less than that then tbe error B001 will come.
5.For that adjust the antenna with checking the signals.
6.Fix the antenna after reaching the signal strenth
7.Then check the channel it Will come.

I have the same problem from past 4 days. Even on sunny day i get this problem Error Code B001
Atrocious service provider. Planning to shift and dump it.
I am also getting B001 for the past 1 month.Raised the request Service person came and chaned the dual, still the issue exists.Raised the complaint again, one more person came and changed the connector, still issue exists.Raised the request, one more person came and asked me to change the setup box...Stupid suggestions by airyel service guys...Worst teach support by Airtel...Do not go for Airtel DTH
Yes this ### is literally worst, Sometimes B001 code look unresolvable but when a technical person come and solve in front of you it hurts, All I understood is there is three main issue regarding signal strength,
1.LNB alignment
2.Elevation angle
3.Direction of disc horizontal
Tune these three and try to grab signal if you can, Most people only move the disc left to right, focuse on other two parameter also.Struggle until you get tired because when the technician will come and fix right in front of you within a moment you will be really sad and disappointed.

I feel the customer support is worst of the worst...if i knew i wouldn't have gone for their service...there are many companies who offer good support.
