[Resolved] Airtel — High Charges on Phone bill[protected] | |
Dear Airtel I have sent several emails in the 10 days about this matter but it was not sorted out by your organization. I have been using this number for close to 10 years and for my internet connection mostly used Rs. 98 monthly package. I was offered to change this number from Pre-paid to Post paid end of last month. I took the offer and got most of my credit back. Though I lost on part of the internet package and Certain International calling packages I have subscribed to last month. When this number was migrated to post paid I visited Airtel office in Noida and asked the representative there to activated 2G Rs. 99 month Internet package and was told that this service has been activated. I started using the internet on this number post paid only after this visit. Later on I came to know there’s some confusion and the same is not showing in the system. I visited the office again on August 13, 2012, the representative called Airtel and confirmed me that the service is activated on my number. When I got the phone bill I was shocked to see close to Rs. 1000 is charged for internet for about 10 days. I want to inform you that on my part I did everything on active the Rs. 99 2G package and started using the phone after talking to your office.
