[Resolved]  Airtel — Worst customer care

Whenever you call to customer care 121 and select any option that goes to their "talk to our Customer Care representative", then suddenly call gets disconnected.
Airtel is earning money as the 121 is chargable and they automatically disconnect the call when you select the option to talk to the customer care representative.

This is the worst IVR system I have ever seen.

I have Airtel Simcard from last 3 years,In my room there is no signal of airtel,my house is in the mid of the city.I call several times to customer care,they says your problem will be solved in 7 days but after a month the problem remains same.This is my very old no. thats why I cant change this.Having lots of trouble I decided to divert my calls to other no.,I call customer care again,they tell me you only divert a call on airtel and idea,then I purchase a new idea connection.I call customer care again to activate call divert to my new idea number now they says you only divert a call on airtel local no.
What can I do now this is a very worst customer care,kaise kaise gadho ko bitha ke rakha hai.
I am an existing Airtel digital TV subscriber and recently i have paid the money for upgrading my existing settop box to HD settop box. I have registered a complaint request no:6262091 on March 24th. My customer ID: [protected]. I have been calling customer care daily and would have made atleast 50 calls for this issue. Most of the time customer care people disconnect my calls in between purposefully.
I have escalated this matter to the supervisors named rachana, kalpana and vivek who too disconnected my calls in between and giving me false promises of resolving the issue the same day and giving a call back. Till now I haven't got a single call from any people including customer care or back end installation team. Customer care infact gave me some contact numbers of backend team. In one number of the agency they never pick up the call and other numbers of engineers provided are invalid numbers. Its like cheating a customer and giving false promises. I am really fed up talking to customer care and lost my piece of mind and money for past 6 days. I am writing to you hoping that you will provide me some solution. If you are not able to provide the connection refund my money. Other service providers will come and give me connection within hours of calling them. Since im an Airtel customer for past so many years I thought I would go with it. Inspite of making more than 50 calls from past 6 days no one has turned back and I havent received a single call till now from any of Airtel people. I regret taking airtel connection. I will go with some other connection who provides good customer care service and values customers. I want my money back which I have recharged for Rs.2250 for new HD settopbox. So please help me get my money.

and after a week of tat I got a call frm
customer care regarding my sim
verification , I had given correct details
and they said everthing is correct and
each week they called and verified my
details . But on saturday( 30/ 4/ 11) . My
msg and call was blocked, if I try to
connect a call it goes to cust care .
They again asked my details and said
after 24 hrs my sim ll be activated ,
until tat cant use ,my sim . Then next
day also it was, still in hold . Again dey
said sry for trouble , dey ll clear it
quickly . But day 3 also started still I
cant use my sim . I never seen such
a ,bad sim verification in any netwrk .
All cc ppl saying it ll get ready soon ,
but no one is taking respobsible for
I am completely fed up of Airtel's attitude towards broadband issues which they are not able to fix it. I raised a request to relocate my broadband connection from Basaveshwar Nagara to Kammanahalli in Bangalore on July 3rd and the relocation is not taken place sofar and they are simply giving some stupid reasons like there is some problem with Software Upgradation and some .
Airtel being such a big organization, is doing software upgradation for months togteher. I am also a project lead and handles multiple projects and we also do software, database upgrade and so many things. But we take not more than one or two days for doing this exercise. First they should kick CEO's for not able handle this kind of situations.

Now, Airtel's service has become from bad to worse i am not getting any bad word to scold these mother [censored]rs. I am so fed of this [censored]ng airtel people. which has affected my personal life completely. I am not able to spend time with my family and kid which has frustrated me a lot. I dont have other option to go for some other service provider as there is no feasibility in that area. I have my neighbour who has Airtel broadband connection which is up and running. I dont know what is the problem with these mother [censored]rs. They are not letting me know what exactly the problem with this. They are simply dragging this on and on and on.....which has frustrated me a lot.


I REQUEST PLEASE DO NOT GO FOR AIRTEL AS SERVICE PROVIDER RATHER GO FOR ANY OTHER. BECAUSE THEY HAVE INCREASED THE MOBILE TARIFF ALSO WHICH IS AGAIN PAIN IN THE FOR USERS.

This bloody airtel sucks a lot and please please please please do not choose mother [censored]rs as service provider for any services...........

I call up air tel customer care many times to solve my problems but neither the company nor their any staff have taken any initiative to solve my complaint.
my problem is from April 2011, whenever i go in roaming my outgoing facility is barred by this air tel.
i complain about this to then in April,June,Sept,Oct,Nov & Dec total 7(seven) times but nothing has been done.
In place of solving my problem the company barred my no for customer care so that i cant complaint any more.Till date i cant call on 198.
Although i already launch a complain about this thrice.
and when ever i am in roaming the company cutting my balance,
is this the way to provide service to customer,why not TRAI banning these CHOR & DACOIT companies its really matter of same for TRAI.

If you can do any thing then please do, and thought a lesson to these CHOR companies.

I have been trying to get in touch with a so-called "customer care executive" of Airtel on their toll free 121. After dialling options 6, 5, it takes you to an option asking your confirmation about 50p charge for a 3 minute talk with the customer care executive. When I press 1 (to confirm) it just answers "dial 121#.... to know your balance, thank you for contacting airtel....

I really am fed up with Airtel's "go to hell" customer care attitude. This is not the first time, even before on several occasions I have faced this problem.
I have therefore left a complaint on their website and I got a reply that someone will contact me in 2 days....(2 days to address a customer's complaint?????). Just waiting for this conversation and then I will switch over to some other service provider.

I think the Chairman Mr. Sunil Bharti Mittal should take a personal assessment of his company rather than talking big !!!!

sir, I am using airtel network since 8 years. I never thought they will cheat the customer very smartly. I have activated the 2G data pack througe thire SMS service, after that one popup came to me saying that thanks for recharge you will get the confermation MSG for activation. But Msg didn't come even after 1hour. But we started using the internet because somany times they won't send it. But the next day morning my balance was 0. I was surpriced. when i called them 1st time they said your internet pack got over, so we took the money from my main accont. 2nd time they told the back was not activated, So we took the money from main accont. even The guy was talking like we cont refund my 300 rupees. You can do what ever you Want. I was realy upset so thet i am here to write my Problem. Please help in this.
