Airtel Landline And Broadband — Faking offers to lure customers | |
Hi, I planned to switch from BSNL broadband to Airtel Broadband and just at that time i heard about a offer stating that if i book a airtel connection before August 31 i would get 5% Discount on total Bill, Rs.250/- Speed on Demand for first 3 months and 500 free calls (100 Airtel mobile mins and 400 Airtel Lanline mins) for the first month. So i was impressed by the offer and so i booked the connection on 26th August and i got the connection activated on 29th August. I was told about this offer over phone and within the next one hour the airtel person came to my house for registration. I was happy about the speed at which they provided the connection. After a month o[censored]sage i got a bill and was shocked to see that the mentioned offer was not included in my airtel connection. When i complained about this in airtel on 7 Oct 2009 and first they told that the offer expired at the time of logging (Offer only expires on August 31st but i got my connection activated on 29th August also this was done by airtel person and not by customers) but i was not convinced so i sent a mail to airtel nodal office but there was no response. So i again re-registered a complaint and this time the airtel people said that the offer cannot be included as person who told me the offer and the person who registered the offer left the job and they didn't mention about the offer in my registration form. How could this be my mistake if the person forgets to mention the offer in the registration form. Now how can i deal this problem. PLEASE HELP ME. Was this information helpful? | |
