[Resolved]  Airtel Mobile Office — Unfair charges of GPRS service

I am customer of AIRTEL prepaid mobile service..

I want to drag your attention on the issue of charges of the MOBILE OFFICE (GPRS) service provided by AIRTEL.

This service is provided on the daily rental basis.

When it was started AIRTEL charges Rs.5/- Per day; And increasing simultaneously Now they have reached to the highest of Rs.25/-per day in past one and half year..

One more thing to be noticed is that AIRTEL providing EDGE service (Faster than normal) in some selected cities at the same cost..

Atleast they have to give some concession to the NON-EDGE users..

And the Quality of The GPRS service is too poor..

Can anyone like TRAI can regulate the prices of these kind of VALUE ADDED SERVICES??

If yes, Then please do something for the welfare of consumers..

Airtel Prepaid Connection — Mobile office GPRS connection

Dear Sir,
I have requested for "Mobile Office GPRS" connection in my Air Tel Prepaid ocnnection on 08/02/2008 evening. They had assured that they will get my GPRS connection active immidiately and they will charge for that Rs. 249/- rental (pre month).

But till Today I didn't det any activation information and also the GPRS setting for my Mobile phone, althow they had Deducted Rs. 249/- as rental for "Mobile office GPRS" from my balance. I had SMS as "MO" to 2567 several tiems.

I have talk to several times to the Air Tel customer Care Exicutive person, I have sent SMS to 121 (They told me to SMS to 121 and they will take care of my problems within 24 hours) bu after 48 hours and more I didnot get any SMS,Call or any positive response from their end.

Air tel customer care exicutive always taking time as 24 hours, 36 hours,72 hours and harrasings me.

I am feeling hopeless please do something.

my all outgoing calls r blocked by u even though m having 106rs as credit balance n validity upto 2010. kindly note it n plz start my out going calls m in very much need..............

mobile office — very low speed through MO

here by i would like to say that airtel is no. one cheater company, its take 15rs/day on MO service but instead of that giving nothing like speed is around 2-4 kbps

Airtel Mobile Office — Worked for less than said duration (30 days) since activation

I bought Airtel Mobile Office card for 395 Rs on 8th July, 2008. Due to technical problems at Airtel GPRS, I had submitted 2 -3 complaints to their customer care. Finally I received an SMS from their end on 14th July, 2008 that the problem is rectified and I should be able to use the mobile office.

Ideally I expect their system to recognize the inconvenience caused by this delay and allow me to use the service for said duration of 30 days, which is till 14th August, 2008.

However, I received an SMS from Airtel on 6th August, 2008 that my Mobile Office connection validity would end on 8th August, 2008. When I called the customer care on 7th August, 2008, they simply refused to act on my request and declared that my connection would end on 8th August, 2008. No logical assessment of the problem is made by them and the customer service executive ended the call by mentioning that if you wish to continue to use this service then you need to buy another top up of 395Rs for 30days.

Should customer's genuine problem be neglected this way? What can be done to take corrective action in this regard?

mobile office — unable to access net over vista through bluetooth

i had activated my GPRS near about 15 days back but even know i am unable to asses net through mobile office over my laptop and most important thing is that when i try to contact about that with air tel service support about that then every time i got the same answer and that is "your mobile office services are not activated" and when i told them that my mobile office services are already activated, and i also asked from them about my complain no then my helpline services were barded and know my complain no is 20442122, if even know i am unable to get the proper answer then i will not wait any more . And i will also never advice any body to waste his money and time over air tel net. I WAS TRYING TO ACCESS NET THROUGH BLUE TOOTH OVER VISTA
i m also having the same plm but i m still unable to acess the enter access on my laptop, what should i do for that

mobile office — Poor Service for GPRS issue

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am facing issue with the GPRS Sevice for Airtel and i have the below complaints,
I have tagged 4 comaplaints all got resolved without any resolution.

I have called many time and was given assurance that it will be resolved. Infact i had spoken with the Team Leader twice and they assured that this will be resolved but no resolution.
Whenever i called the call get successful on 2nd or 3rd try. Most of the time the call gets dropped. This i have told them also.
They have feature of callback if we send sms on 510 but i never recieved any call
I replied no to feedback question asked by 247 service and recieved the call twice for dissatisfaction and they also assured that this will resolve but no resolution.
I am working for 24/7 environment for which i have to use the internet out of office ours specially in weekend but due to this issue i am loosing my productivity and my managers are also complaining.

Airtel Prepaid Connection — Very slow and harassing to -Activate the Outgoing calls

The air tel prepaid connections was taken on 29 Nov 2009 and they missed my documents supplied and barred my out going calls. Then i have submit my documents on[protected] in Mathikere Airtel relation office. Before submitting the document they told 2hrs to activate ( In emegency number 121) The reference number was : [protected] , Then told Monday they will activate the outgoing calls. Monday they are not activate the calls. Then Monday called to custoomer case they told with in 17th Dec we will activate the account Ref: [protected] on 14 Dec 2009.

Why theay are misguiding me and also they are harassing me not activate the calls and telling different time every time. It very bad from the Airtel Customer service not only Worst and treating the customer to serve for them.
