[Resolved] Airtel Postpaid — Being hounded by Airtel men at residence | |||
This is to inform you that I had submitted a letter to AIRTEL Customer Care Division on 11 April 2013 and requested for disconnection of service. Since then I have received innumerable calls from their customer care division nagging me not to discontinue the service. I don't have so much time to speak at length to the executives daily to refuse the plan to continue. Now though the number is not working any more, two of their MALE executives are hounding my residence at any hour to meet me (even late night), and tormenting my old parents so much that they are getting agitated (they have sugar, their BP is rising/ falling). What is this? My parents are being insulted that I have defaulted in paying my bill, but the due date for my last bill is 1st May. Who gave these men the right to trouble my parents and create disruption in my personal life just because I had availed AIRTEL postpaid service, and now am discontinuing it? This should not have been the case - they still have my deposit amount of INR 300, which I was told shall be refunded to me the day I submit the disconnection request letter (at the time of taking the number) but now I am being told differently by different executives - 6 weeks, 60 days, 6 months etc. It is utterly confusing and disgusting. Furthermore, all my relatives and friends availing AIRTEL post-paid service are stunned at the proceedings, and they too are planning to discontinue. Additionally, my husband, my parents, and myself have multiple AIRTEL connections, and shall discontinue all if this torture of hounding home to torment two senior citizens continue. Moreover, with this history I am sure AIRTEL will never return the deposit amount of INR 300. Finally, due to family situation created by their men in the last few days, I am not in a position to pay the last bill anymore. I have e-mailed and request them to adjust it with the deposit because my bill is less than the deposit. I ALSO REQUEST THEM TO CONFIRM BY E-MAIL REGARDING THE ADJUSTMENT AND THAT I NEED NOT PAY THE LAST BILL ANYMORE AND MOST IMPORTANTLY NO MEN WILL BE SEND TO MY RESIDENCE TO BULLY EITHER ME OR MY PARENTS.
