[Resolved]  Airtel Prepaid — Outgoing blocked stating document mismatch

Hello All

I am a software engineer working for TCS and I am really dissatisfied with Airtel pre-paid connection.

I had applied for Airtel pre-paid connection at Airtel office (ITPL, Whitefield, Bengaluru) on 12th Oct and my connection got activated on 13th Oct.

However on 22nd Oct suddenly my outgoing got blocked.
On calling customer care I was informed that there is a mismatch in my document. However no clear information was provided on what was mis-matched.

Please note that I had applied for pre-paid SIM at Airtel office and had submitted all required documents and only after that I got Airtel SIM.
If there really was a mismatch then why was I issued Pre-paid SIM in first place??????

This seems to be a blunder on part of Airtel staff who filled and submitted my document.
Shouldn't Airtel contact it's office staff in Whitefield office to verify who made mistake?
Why customer has to suffer in such scenario??
Why customer is not provided any clear information????

I am being asked to re-submit my documents and wait for 3 more days after document submission to get outgoing re-activated which is a crap.

I am not a fool to keep submitting my documents again and again.
Instead I will go ahead and buy SIM from some other Telecom company which is more customer friendly.

I won't recommend anyone to take Airtel pre-paid connection.

Airtel Prepaid Connection — AirTel Prepaid connection Blocked??????

My son got admission in JMIT-Radaur and he applied for a Prepaid connection with AirTel Haryana. At the time of application we attached a Bonafide certificate issued by JMIT-Radaur. Connection started working properly and after one month of functioning he recd. a message for recharge and for that he will get full talk time of recharge value. Accordingly he got recharge of Rs.333/- from delhi outlet. After recharge, connection started creaing problems and when he discussed and checked with the outlet from where he got the connection, the outlet vendor told him to submitt address proof. He submitted the same to him but after 2-3 days connection got blocked and when my son contacted AirTel Haryana, the customer care said the connection is permanently blocked and now nothing can be done. Like this we lost connection charges+Recharge balance+additional Recharge, a total amount of nearly Rs.700/- (250+85+333) and harrashment.
Please advise us to do the needful.
I got airtel connection with no.[protected]. I lost my phone along with airtel sim on[protected]. When I reached authorised airtel dealer for blocking my sim and to issue a duplicate sim, I was surprised to find that the sim was issued in the name of some Naveen Kumar with annoynyms address. Now the airtel dealer is not providing me a duplicate sim nor the sim has been blocked.
kindly help me out.
