[Resolved] Airtel Prepaid Telephone Connection — Inaction by Airtel for 20 days to solve problem | |||
Sub: Airtel Prepaid Mobile No.[protected] On my above phone, I was neither able to receive nor make calls from 4th to 24th February 2011. During this period, I was without a mobile phone connection. Daily I made a number of complaints to the Customer Care Centre, the Nodal Officer and the Appellant Authority, but nothing was done to put the phone right. All these complaints were made from my landline phone, incurring expenses amounting to Rs.595.51 on all these phone calls. I talked to Anuradha Ref. [protected] requesting that this amount be reimbursed to me, but was told that they would not reimburse the money, and I could approach TRAI or the Consumer Court. Following are the details of my complaints in this connection: CUSTOMER CARE Number Date called Details 4/2/2011 [protected] All showing OK [protected] Validity up to 30/10/2013, Balance Rs.872.14 5/2/2011 Abishek 9.35 to Harminder Supervisor 9.35, Complaint No.5759073 - said the problem would be solved 9/2/2011 10.15 Rajni Complaint No9.5759073 pending NODAL OFFICER 11/2/2011 [protected] Nodal Officer Vikrant Pandey - who said the problem would be solved 11.30 Ms. Anandita Complaint No. [protected] APPELLANT OFFICER Number Date called Details 11/2/2011 [protected] 12.15, AN JU Complaint No.[protected] 14/2/2011 [protected] Visited Airtel Office, Nehru Place 12.05, Met Mr. Ritesh who said all incoming/outgoing was OK. On checking my mobile phone, he found that incoming and outgoing was not available. He said that the fault was with the Exchange. He asked me to book a complaint on No.511. I talked to Sangita, Complaint No.037782 16/2/2011 Talked to Mr. Piyush Complaint Rsf. No. [protected] - who said that parameter problems which will be solved 24/2/2011 At 11.25 talked to Kunal Re. 913861 25/2/2011 [protected] At 11.15 talked to Chansite I request that suitable action may please be taken to reimburse the expenses of Rs.595.91 incurred owing to inaction by the concerned authorities to rectify a problem in the phone connection provided by them. I strongly feel that a penalty should be levied on Airtel for their inaction in solving a problem at their end. Thank you, Peter F.
