[Resolved]  Airtel — no network coverage

Hi ,
Myself Biplab Goswami i have a a airtel prepaid connection [protected].For the last few weeks i am facing tremendous network problem in my area .There is either no network or my phone takes the roaming .It can not be excused as a far area or anything as the services were good till few weeks back .but now its horrible Airtel is said to be the best mobile service provider .its sales figures are rising because the customers are satisfied .So in a era where there is tremendous competition and number portability is there airtel is decreasing its services.
I am expecting a response from the company asap.

details through sms
its more than 1 months now i hav been complaining airtel customer care that there is no network coverage.i m user of airtel since last two years.and have blind trust on airtel.but now i m very much dissappointed.and i hav now totally lost it.every time i made call to customer care they just provide me with new dates and even dont feel regret for the same.i hav called customer care about 6 times few of the complaint numbers are as follows:[protected],[protected],[protected].the no. of mine is [protected].and soon i m going to change it with other services if the same problem is not dealt seriously as it is matter of life and death as i hav this no. only and i hav to keep in touch regularly with my doctor.this is not expected with u AIRTEL.
I moved to my new house in Sept. 04. I have never ever recieved a proper network coverage of AIRTEL on the ground floor of my house.

I made several complaints to this effect on their helpline 121 & the erstwhile helpline [protected]. Airtel Mobile has never bothered to respond =vely. They just take a complaint & do nothing about it. They have put signal boosters in our neighbours house as their billing was huge so they did not wish to loose the big billing !

Maybe this post will help resolve the issue. Or else I am oving to Vodafone the day the number portability becomes a reality.

I HAVE BEEN COMPLAINING ON "NO NETWORK COVERAGE" INSIDE MY OFFICE SINCE MARCH 08. EVERYTIME AIRTEL SAYS THE COMPLAINT IS RECTIFIED AND SOMEONE CALLED VISHAL VISITED US. I AM YET TO MEET THAT PERSON NOR SPEAK TO HIM. ITS ANNOYING THAT EVERYTIME YOU CALL THE CUSTOMER CARE THEY COME UP WITH FANTASTIC STORY. MY PROBLEM STILL PERSISTS AND NO ONE IS BOTHERED TO RECTIFY THE PROBLEM. MY FIRST COMPLAINT REFERENCE NUMBER IS 16106169 DATED 31ST MARCH 2008. MY SECOND COMPLAINT NUMBER IS 16593914 DATED 6.5.08. THEY SENT AN SMS SAYING THEY WILL GET BACK TO ME ON MAY 9TH, WHICH THEY DIDN'T. THIS IS AFFECTING MY BUSINESS IN A BIG WAY. I CANNOT CHANGE MY NUMBER NOW AS THE SAME IS WITH ALL MY CLIENTS. KINDLY ADVISE WHAT COURSE OF ACTION I SHOULD DO.
hi, i m abdul, i have prepaid connection and the number is[protected] from chennai, but my native is PARADARAMI village (gudiyattham taluk. vellore district, tamil nadu) there is no network in this village, i have to change my sim to vodafone daily when i rich my village, other network are perfect but there is no airtel, pls try to put the tower there, the village population is >20, 000.

A new TOWER has been charged JUST 300 Meters away from my house. but still the condition is the same. if i want to call some one i must place my mobile on the window/outside. A very sad thing is the customer care IS not providing me the complaint number.
I had posted my complaints on MONDAY 22 september 2008, AT 5.30PM, WENSDAY 25 AT 5.30PM, THEN ON 1 October at 8.00AM.
I hope YOU will take necessary action on my complaint.

Since from last 11 month i complaining for zero network coverage, but no action action as been taken,
So i approched to cancel my card (which i taken in Nashik, but currently i am in Mumbai), there asking to cancel from maharasthra circle office, which is near kalyan(far away from my place, where i residing), and nothing to do with mumbai circle.Since within state there operating in different circle, which is very painful, even when i contacting to customer care.
Pls provide network coverage or cancel my SIM card.

I called up the call center who redirected me to call [protected] The customer care executive very curtly put down the phone stating she will not be able to solve it - and disconnected the line, which is not what was expected from an Airtel agent.

iam vikas pai residing in nejicar, near uppinangady manglore dakshina kannada, i am airtel customer having number [protected]. there is no network coverage in our place, it is a state highway from mysore to dharmastala and is just 3kms away from uppinangady. there are many persons of having sim of your company. without network coverage we are facing problems. there is a mandir also in this area. make necessary arrangements. thanking u VIKAS PAI [protected]
i am residing in kandevali east mumbai and airtel doesnt have coverage here, when i spoke to customer care they told me they will rectify this problem, but that was all fake its been more than two months my cell doesnt catch the signal in kandevali area and the customer care is so rude anf frustrating that they disconnect my call whenever they want to.

i request all the cell users to not to use airtel in mumbai as they always have this network problem and it seems they are not bothered about it.

Im Using Airtel PostPaid & Staying in Bangalore - Marathali. Im facing Network issue with AirTel & there is no Proper Response from them inspite of raising many Issues. Once I get inside my Home there will be no Network & Due to this , Always i need to come on to Road to Make Calls / to recieve Calls.
Due to Network Issue, my Bill got increased like anything due to which i made calls by going out of Home inspite of getting Calls. I need Minimum of 50% Bill waver from them.

this is to state that i am deeply suffering from the connections problem of the airtel no. Everytime when i got a call, i cannot attend it inside my home because of the network problem. everytime i have to get out of my home to attend the call and same for doing the call. this is happening since i have got this connection in january 2009. i have lodged several complaints to the costumer care centre also, but no satisfactory response came to me so far. i had thought of replacing my home connection and broadband connection to airtel (as i have heard about them), but now not in my single thought i think about them. they talk about their connection in rivers, mountains etc, but the reality is even i am not getting it on land. my airtel no is [protected]. and i am talking about the area sec-7, rohini, delhi-85
