Unjustified and invalid charges in Monthly bill
Its regarding Cell# 9910182066 with Airtel India
I was given the promotional offer of 3G for 3 months in the month of November and same was added in my base
plan. When promotional offer was activated on my phone, I called up customer service that
what will happen after 3months. Customer service agent informed that the 3G plan will be discontinued automatically after 3 months.
Once 3 months the 3G plan did not get deactivated and I also did not notice that it's still running on my number as I was under the impression that 3 months might not got over and also trusted Customer services agent that 3G plan would get deactivated.
Suddenly when the bill comes for March'12, there were hugh charges of 3G included in the bill around Rs.13000/-. I immediately called up customer service. They said 3 months got over and after that I was charged as per bill plan. I asked a question that why it did not get deactivated automatically after 3 months.
They said only promotional got over but 3G continued in the postpaid plan.
I escalated to all the teams of Airtel and no one listened to this case and everybody said that you got to pay these charges.
I clearly said these charges are totally unjustified as I never myself asked to activate 3G services on my number.
Ultimately my no is disablbed since last 2 months due to non payment.
Airtel services were kind to me till this incident but now I say that Airtel services are worst in the country. They dont take care and listern even there old customers and charge them all the unjustified and invalid charges.
I am posting this here so that I could some justice on it.
