[Resolved]  American Express Credit Card — Payment of due amount after closure of card account

Hi,
I am Chandan Saxena. I was holding an Amex card earlier this year till April 2013. I have requested for cancellation of card and it got cancelled.
Now I am not sure if there is any outstanding amount against my card or its waived off.

I have tried to pay the same online earlier but it was not accepted since card was cancelled.

I am intending to pay outstanding (if any), however seeking your help for online payment.
Please let me know to do from my side (if any) or confirm on my email if my account is settled.

Credit Card — Cancellation of card and Due Payment

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am holding
HDFC Credit Card: [protected]
which I am not using since February and I have called to your Customer Care to cancel. Moreover, some amount is pending because I have paid the amount told by your customer care executive on duty, becuase I am not able to receive the bills on time, may be because of area or closed house etc. issues.

I also called about the 1 time settlement, but I can't understand everytime the amount is being increased has become almost double then the actual amount.

You can check my past record with the deals on the same credit card.

Why should I do such mistake and to pay more amount ?

I seek your early action in direction to cancel the card and give me the amount to pay the original amount.

Credit Card — amount due

I had applied for home loan, the banker says that cibil report says that some amount is pending. Kindly confirm the name of the credit card and amount due so that if genuine case i am ready to clear the amount.

Credit Card — Closure of credit card account

Dear responsible officer,
I am trying to get in touch of your customer care phone banking officer through credit card menu for almost 2 hours but failed. Then i opted for the loan menu. Thanks to your prompt service for loan menu, i could talk the concern person who helped to connect me to the credit card division customer care executive. However the executive did not take my request for closing the credit card account, saying that the service was not available due to some technical difficulty and asked to call again after 2 hours, provided by then the service is restored. I am sure; i will have to struggle to again contact your credit card division C. C. executive.
Kindly close my credit card (#[protected]) account and inform me on my E- mail ID.
I have paid all my dues. In fact some extra amount, which I can forfeit for closing the account.
I hope ICICI Bank acts sensibly and prevent the harassment of its helpless customers. Also your Customer care call centers needs redressel for providing, I am not saying very prompt but at least little responsible customer service.

dear sir, already i paid by bill on chq no 37072 dt[protected] on andhra bank maharanipeta visakhapatnam .i submit chque in your bank on[protected] due to your delay collection your people are charged for me it is not my mistake i have 3 credit cards but ihave given a cheque for what number i don't know but it was collected on[protected] fro rs 5640 dt[protected] even then regularly you are sending letter to me with interest.sothat i request you to rectify the mistake and waive the late fee charges and interest. Dear sir,
My card no is [protected], by using this I am paying my monthly installment to a prulife policy no 03038383.
My last payment was 31st may 2009, I was requested you to do this as auto debit, now the installment time completed hence u are requested to stop the auto debit from June 2009 onwards, no more dues, kindly send me a acknowledgement for this.
About this issue I have approached your telebanking services, but I was waited in a long Q, around 18mints

HDFC Credit Card — Non Closure after payment of settlement amount

I have repaid all installments towards settlement of credit card no [protected].



Over telephone I have been conveyed that the settlement has been ratified but no physical document in form of email or in form of NOC hard copy has been delivered to me. When I enquired to your Credit card call facility they have stated that HDFC does not provide any NOC. I cannot accept this. Please provide NOC hardcopy to the address below. Greenwood Nook, Flat No 10AR2, 369/2 Purbachal Main Rd, Kol – 700078.



When I further enquired about the same I have been told that in cases of settlement of dues in credit card it is customery of HDFC to inform verbally only and that HDFC Bank does not provide any NOC hard copy!!!



I fail to understand how HDFC Bank thinks that a customer who has paid Rs. 70000/- (Seventy Thousand only) as settlement value in a credit card over a period of seven months can be provided such an argument at the end of the payment period while none existed at the time of settlement negotiation. Also without a formal closure how can a customer interprete that in future yoy may not come up with a new claim on the same instrument. This is gross violation of any relationship in banking or otherwise and the nature of operation is NOT transparent, from customer perspective. For you reference attached is the RBI directive on fair practice in creadit card operations.



I ask you to provide the following for this credit card :



a) Cibil Report Update for this card(Either through email or a hardcopy). Incidentally I have found no updates for this card when I last accessed my CIBIL credit report 5 months into repayment of settlement value of this credit card and in the CIbil report it was still showing a whopping 1 lakh as outstanding. What kind of financial reportage is this?

b) A hardcopy of NOC for this credit card with associated correct status.

HDFC bank Credit card recovery department is most notorious in the country.

That is the reason they can show very low Non Performing Assets because they never write off any of the settlements done with the customers. They did the same with me for one year. I took the matter with ombudsman, using all the emails that i had sent for one year, the settlement letter scanned copy and the proof of payment that i had done. Now i have received the zero balance confirmation and write off in cibil.

They try to get you into accepting expired settlement letter after which you have no rights. Make sure you make the payment within the written time frame of the settlement letter at all cost


Stay away from HDFC bank for all reasons.

Amex India CC — Without holding card how to pay

Without know whether the customer receives card or not,they insist me to pay the card due everymonth and keep on sending payment due sms's,since i've relocated to other city,i don't know how to proceed further...

Credit Card — payment/cancellation

I want statement of account since the first transaction I have made till today. Because I am using my other citi card ending with 8801. so how this much balance is outstanding & from when?
