I have current account in Hdfc Bank A/c [protected].
Last time my check returned at 8:30 Am. But bank time shown us 9:30 to 3:30.I Deposit fundtranfer check at 9:30 am. But they also not pass my checked. They cut 300.00 rs per checked returned charges with ST & Cess.
Now, i want to know they Have rights to get ST & Cess charges to returned checked? Or they are should also clearing check at 8:30 AM.

If you haven't manitained the minimum AQB (average quarterly balance) in your account, HDFC will debit a fine from your account. Thats what happened here. To know more about your AQB and to calclate it visit these links

i have my sb account no [protected]. My account has been debited for aqb jan to march 09 of rs 827.25.As per assurance by ur executive hemant pal of bilaspur cg branch that he clubbed with my father in law Dr khute account who have already classic account in bilaspur

until unless i check this posting i would never know what would have happened .
They have deducted rs from my HDFC account 827.25 . its simply not acceptable its B___S___.
i don't owe the money as they not informed me when i opened the account nor when i deposited money
all of sudden with out any intimation with out any F___ notice they did it .
What ever explanation they say its all would be S___T. I am closing my HDFC account and advice all my friends not to open any account with Fraud HDFC F______ing Bank . and i will sue this bank

It is correct that in the terms and condition it is mentioned about AQB and it will be deducted according to the account type.
According to the bank policies if we check the calculation then it means that if there is no transaction then there will be no deduction and the account balance should be zero in that case which is what i understand from the given calculation in the policy.If the bank deducts money for transaction then it is indirectly informing the customer that we do not give you any profit but deduct money for the transaction made by you.
If bank deducts money for the transaction then option left is direct transfer of money without having a bank account.Bank should have some better option to earn money from the customers.

yes, HDFC banking and marketing people is making fool by not making clear the customers while opening the account. ( regarding the class of account, the min. quaterly balance etc..)..they just try to fulfill their target leaving the customers in soup...

From my account also they deducted '10 Jul 2009 AQB SER CHGS INC ST & CESS APR-JUN[protected] Jul 2009 827.25".

I maintained more that 8000 Rs in account for long time and I didn't make any transaction for the past around 2 yrs. Eventhough they charged this amount. We feel that this very very heavy charge. Without any information they deducted this charges. Is there any way recover this fees from bank.

I think banks are thinking that customers are fools... I am closing my account... No clear rules...Very easy to extract money from customers...

Is there any way to complain to bank regularity board. If any one knows that email & mail address please help us. We are preparing complain against this HDFC bank heavy charges.
1) I think HDFC bank thinks, customers are fools...
2) As a courtesy basis, bank should have sent mail about this charges/changes in minimum balance.
3) They themself declare, they are world class bank, but they are not able to just inform any changes to their customers. Is it World class bank.
4) Many banks are doing many wrong things like.

If HDFC thinks that type of extraction (AQB Ser chgs Inc ST & cess) of money from the A/c makes a good picture of them - they should think again...

To my friends at this site: How may of you did get a copy of the terms and conditions at the time of opening the account? HDFC is zealous in opening an account and then having various ways to extract money. Dear Friends: Ensure that you get a copy of the terms and conditions at the time of opening an a/c and ensuring to get it signed and stamped by the HDFC bank manager promising to keep you informed about all future changes...

(AQB SER CHGS INC ST & CESS APR-JUN2009) kindly explain what is this charge for... this is realy nerving especially because we were not informed before. and i think the bank should at least send a prior notice before deductiong the amount. this looks more like ways to make money and i guess not a well appreciated one. i think the bank should pay for this uninformed step and we all should be give our deducted ammount back. and from next time on we should be give a prior notice. coz i guess they can send their promotional advertisement letters little less and prefer sending the important ones.

Bank should have atleast send mail or e-mail...can i reverse this amount??

Please look this matter very seriously, as same bank have deducted around 4000INR from my account please have a look on this issue.
