[Resolved]  Axis Bank — consolidated charges for A/c

I am working for a real estate company called Silverline Realty since July last year and our salary accounts are at AXIS BANK Cox Town branch.Up yo mid March I had no reason to complain, BUT on March 30
when I went to withdraw Rs.15000 from the ATM, I found that the funds were insufficient.I pulled out the mini statement and to my horror realised that the bank had KNOCKED OFF Rs, 3600 as CONSOLIDATED CHARGES AND RS.367 as Service Tax from my account.I rushed to the branch to enquie, met the manager, But she said she wasnt in a position to help me before First week of April

I reahed office and asked the other employees about their accounts and realised all of them had been fleeced .The company wrote to the bank and got a reply saying details will follow but we havent heards from them yet..Now the company is left with no choice but to close the account, but those o[censored]s who suffered losses are not compensated
.I am thinking of taking legal action

i was also charged Rs.1000 and Rs.103 as taxes .
write a letter to the axis bank branch manager, requesting reversal of the charges, they have reversed the charges for me.

I have got a response from the axis bank customer care after 15 days!!!. I have mailed to salary.[protected]@axisbank.com on 31/03/2009 and got a reply on 16th april (The could have sent a postal mail in 15 days :-))

Sorry for the delay.
We thank you for writing to us. With reference to your mail this is to inform you that branch transactional charges are applicable to all SAPPL accounts and charged @ Rs.50+Tax per transaction beyond 9 free transactions per quarter.The same had been communicated to all salary account customers through our quarterly statement of accounts during Q 3 in the last financial year.While Branch transactions entail all customer-induced transactions it excludes Bank Induced, System generated and ATM transactions from the purview of charging.

Finally axis bank has reversed the charge levied, after our company management has taken a tough stand against the head of axis bank branch.

I also have Salary account with Axis bank Fort PM road Branch..Bank detucted Rs.1150.00 as consolidated charges and Rs.118.45 service tax on the same on 30/03/2009 with out any prior notice.

Because of that my ECS for Kotak Mahindra of Rs.1000.00 got bounced and ECS returened charges of Rs.221.00 is lavied on my account.But on 16/04/2009 bank reverse the Charges of Rs.1047.85.

Who is the responsible for ECS returened ?????
and why the ECS returened charges bared by me ???

I Want ECS returned charges to be reverse asap.

Axis Bank — ECC Bounce - Fine Charges

Dear Sir,
Mu ECS Bounce at Axis bank becuase of insuffucient fund and bank cutting charges Rs.221, Actually there is no rule define from RBI but Bank charges this amount from customer without knowing RBI.

Axis Bank: Salary Account — Consolidated Charge for Salary account

I have Axis Bank Salary Account Started month of Jan 2009.
On 1st of April 2009 Axis Bank had levy a sum of 500 Rs, so Effective Balence is less than that of A/c Balence.
After asking the reason from the employee of the axis bank, we came to know that there are some new guidlines pass on Salary account that there will be only 3 transaction allowed in a month.
This was never told to me during Salary account opening.
After asking reversal no comunication relateded this.
And now on 20th April, I came to know that my Account Balence & effective Balence showing less than sum of 2500 Rs.
On enquiry with other bank, we came to know that there are no such practice they followed.

Request you comunicate the solution.This bank taking bites of my hardearned money.

My Card No [protected] Card is blocked. Why the Card blocked ? Not a single paise due.

Pl immediate the said card activated.

same problem with me . also different different rules are telling on telephone and not ready to give in written, some banking person says monthly 10 transctions are alloud, another says 9 transctions in quarter, some also says there are no limits for salary power a/c. this will be credited to your a/c. let-us see when will get-back our money.

Axis bank is fraud. The just debit the account with reason. Just to make their profit grow and stock price, even on saving accounts RS 750 + 10% taxes. I need help. Somany times they have just taken money from me without having a valid reason. This bank is bloody fraud. All the branches and employees, they do not have a reason to make you customer understand what the charges are good for!

I am having a salary account in Axis Bank, but they deducted 719 rupees from my salary account as a Consolidated Charges for A/c, so please mail me how can I get my money back.

they deducted 1800 bucks from my account as a consolidated charges. how can they do this without informing us.this is disgusting...

i will do something to get my money back.

Please let me know why you charge every year 250rs. when i calledup to customer care officer they said its for mobile banking services charge, but so far i didnt receive any msg from your bank.

i have a complaint about the axis bank. some unknown amount(MDS/TIPS/SCG) from my axis bank account is deducted in 3 days.without any notification why it is happenging.Some action has to take against this scenario. The bank have to take some strong decision against all.
Otherwise Axis Bank will also spoile its image in banking sactor like some other private banks.
It willl happen very soon.
