[Resolved]  Axis Bank — Consolidated DP Charges Deduction without Account Holder's Knowledge

Hi My Name is Sumit Khopade in Axis Bank, in Pune kalyani nagar. Samething has happend to me on 18/04/2015 Rs.730.34 has been deducted without my knowledge. This is absolutely ridiculous without anyones knowledge who has given you blady permission to deduct my account. Is this the way your bank works. I am going to close the account immediately. Absolute ridiculous Bank .

Same has happened to me too...they deducted around Rs.607/- without informing me. When I cross check, they are telling it is because of Demat account. I have closed my demat account a year back. Now they say, we have not closed your account as we have not received your closure form. I submitted Demat closure form in Marthahalli branch. But the stupid lady who took my form and not submitted in JP nagar branch. this is how they handles the customer issues. No proper acknowledgement/follow ups.

I also have a Salary account in Axis Bank, in Noida 16 branch, I want to inform that they are deducting amounts in the name of "Consolidated DP charges " from my account without informing me. I didn't get any notification for that. When I called the customer care they informed that it is deducted because of the Demat account, but they are not telling me why they are deducting this amount. They are deducting these kind of amount from last 3-4 year on schedule basis. I ignored it so many time but now I would like to have a clear understanding of how many amount they have deducted since year 2009.
I am going to close the account asap and will take this forward to higher authorities of RBI.

My name is Anuj. I had a salary account in Sector 63, Noida branch.

My account was debited Rs.730 as Consolidated DP Charges. Why is it happened I don't know, Even I never got any trading account opened.
Why this amount is charged from my account???
Their customer care is not worth asking.They dont give correct information. Axis bank- Are you trying to make us fool or what???
You'll have to give reply for this. I would let every body know about this fraud of Axis bank, I would request you to please take action against them.

they asked to call demat department (press 1 for English and press 4 for demat ) after that it is saying we are sorry due to technical problem request is not working..

am also have the same problem.first i dont know how they are charging. after that i searched my personal email regarding axis direct. they are sending one email every month in the name of "AXIS BANK : Demat Statement of Account cum Billing for Client ID:xxxx". in this statement, i found each debit trasaction RS.25 they are charging but not for crediting shares . for this debit tracsacation charge is 0.04 but minimum amount is RS. 25. For example i[censored] sell one share

1*0.04=0.04(so minimum rs.25 will be charge)
1000*0.04=40 ( now rs. 40 will be charge bcoz the amount is greater than rs.25)

like above they will accumulate all debit charges for previous month and debit coming months.so that just go and verify how many debit transaction you did for previous month and verify that. they will mention date period in that statement

Dear All customer Don't Provide your Contact details some fraud call comes ask you card no details e.g. i received a call from +91 [protected] and the caller try to bluff and saying you get refund then asking my Card Details

So currently m going to do a FIR against +91 [protected] so he can't take advance of above details

Axis bank hav debited 650 rs from my salary acc .. This is really rediculous am splited now as I cannot close r switch to other bank as well any one help me out this is salary acc but I want to swtich to other bank to continue my salary I work for TCS

Exactly same thing has just happened with me also.My account was debited Rs.744.25 today i.e 21 May'16 as Consolidated DP Charges. When I spoke with customer care people they are very much reluctant to help me out.
This is absolute nonsense and I can see similar problems had has happened with lots of people.May be I wont get may money back.

Same problem happenned with me at 8:00pm. Amount deducted Rs. 744.25.
Highly surprised that nobody from the bank is taking any action even after multiple complaints.

they have deducted 1116.38 as consolidated DP charges, why the hell without informing before banks deduct ??
