To whom so ever it may concern,

With reference to "claim rejection letter" from BAJAJ ALLIANZ LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY LTD dated 20/12/10, I undersigned ILABEN S. BHRAHMBHATT, Wife of Late Shri Shashikant .C. Brahmbhatt, is quite surprised to see that our claim is not passed by BAJAJ ALLIANZ LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY LTD. In addition to this, I was even more surprised after knowing that the reason of claim not passed was stated as "because my husband was a diabetic, we could not pass this claim".


I was so shocked after getting their "rejection of claim" letter that we sent a request letter to their Pune Head Office on 7th January, 2011 but we have not received any reply as of now. Everytime they commit us to pass the claim in 5-7 days. I also requested to your Surat department about this issue but it was never taken seriously by their employees which forced me to complaint to consumer forum about this issue.


Till today, we are getting all kind of services we expected from BAJAJ ALLIANZ LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY LTD company. We also had other policies with their company (policy no 0015634194 from STM named Mrs Rizwana Saiyed in jan 2006) where claim was passed instantly. I would like to clear it out that before signing an application form, it was clearly specified that my Late husband was a diabetic. So with confirmation to their agent, we signed into this policy. Moreover, this was our first policy with Bajaj Allianz, where it was clearly specified in the application form as well, that the policy holder is diabetic. So i would like to know that if our claim for first policy dated jan 2006 can be passed then what is the objection in passing the claim for the CURRENT POLICY (policy # 0153731298 issued on 04-03-10)? And if there is any kind of mistake from their side than no one else but company is responsible.

I would request you to look into this issue and help us pass our claim as early as possible. .
