[Resolved] Bajaj Allianz — Sarva Shakti Suraksha - returns

Address:Bangalore, Karnataka

Hi,

I have taken Bajaj Allianz SARVE SHAKTI SURAKSHA policy through CITIBANK and have been paying premium for the same @1500 pm for the past 33 months.(premium is deducted automatically from salary account)
Now I want to surrender the policy. I called BAJAJ ALLIANZ customer care but they were unable to furnish any details regarding what amount exactly I will be paid.

So since on phone nothing worked out, I went to the Bajaj Allianz office in Jayanagar,Bangalore and to my surprise they didn't have the complete information. They said my policy started in July 2011, though it started in July 2010. I called the Citibank customer care people, who confirmed that it was an error and told to me that my policy was started in July 2010 only. Finally, i dropped courier to Citibank office to surrender my policy.
I was completely wrong when i thought my ordeal ended here. Who knew it was just a start.

As mentioned already, I had paid a premium of 1500Rs for around 33 months. So it comes around 49,500 Rs. Now since i asked Citibank to surrender my policy,I got a call from Bajaj Allianz representative on confirmaiton of closure. Now, I was SHOCKED to hear that out of Rs. 49500Rs/- premiums paid by me , I will be getting around Rs. 30,000Rs/- back only.Come on,I was like what are you talking about? This was not communicated to me at the time of applying for policy.I started this policy when i was opening the Citibank Salary account .The then representative guaranteed me good returns after 3years.He was like, after 3 years you can stop this insurance and you will get good returns. So
now I am left in complete mess thanks to the these two Companies Citibank and Bajaj Allianz.I am fully depressed and sad, since i feel i am cheated by companies which i trusted. And the worst part is that there are many people who has suffered from this, and many definitely are.So iam quite sure you guys have realised it is best way to mint money from innocent people.

Also, if this was not enough, I called the citibank customer care people ,to ask about this. The representative said, no one here can tell you
and suggested me to drop a mail to "citi.[protected]@bajajallianz.co.in". I did the same, and its already 5 days, and no one has bothered to reply to me despite sending reminders. And why will they afterall, its about returning money.Seriously,i never expected this in worst of my dreams.

i expect some positive reply from u asap. At least expect my principal amount back

An unahppy customer

I don't still understand why are you guys so confused and behaving as if you are not bothered at all about your customers. i got a call and mail from nithya.s11 <nithya.[protected]@balic.in> around 5 days back. She said that out of 49500 Rs only 34500 Rs will be returned.. Then she sent me an email with some document. I replied and asked her below question.
Below is the excerpt from my email

Thanks I see maturity at 6% and 10% under the premium (1500 per month). What is the difference? Could you kindly let me know after 5 years (from the start of my policy) that is after total 60 installments, how much amount will i be getting. So to be more precise, let me try to explain in detail.

My policy Started in July 2010, so if i surrender my policy in July 2015, I would have paid around 1800*60 =90, 000/Rs. So what is the amount i will get if i surrender the policy in July 2015. I am looking for precise answer.(want to ensure that i get atleast more than 90, 000Rs)

But I don't think she is bothered to reply at all. Also, i got a call from pune office today, and again he was not even sure since when i started the Policy. He was like i started this policy in July 2011. I told him that i have gone through all this already, and its error on your side. What saddens me is that you guys are still not seriously helping me . It seems like i am just being called for the sake of being called.

So next time when you guys call me, please come with proper answers and willingness to help.

And i am seriously looking for the answer to my question which i sent to Nithya .In order to ensure that i am not fooled again by you.
Adding this comment to correct the typo in my previous comment. I meant 1500* 60 =90, 000Rs and (not 1800*60 ).
I am yet to hear on this. Any updates?
why is that i get a call from you poeple, they say they will get back to me in a day and then no one bothers to respond? what is the exact problem ?I have been waiting waiting and just waiting
Please get what they are giving and come out of this as soon as possible as this is a Policy which was designed by CITI and BAJAJ to cheat people who trusted CITI bank and took salary account with CITI.
Hi, Even i am in the same situation of Shenoy. Fortunately this problem came to my notice early enough. From past 5 months i am paying the same amount of 1500 as premium, but i have not recieved any policy copy/details from Bajaj Allianz. And coming to CITI people, they are least bothered even to reply back to the enquiry mail
horrible .. a representative fooled me by assuring... good returns after 4 years(minimum policy term)... god give that.. do kauddi ka 10 paise kaamane waala.. a heavy punishment... same citi+SARVE SHAKTI SURAKSHA ...
Same here guys..after reading ur suffering now I wanna close my policy.Thanks.
Guys, .. how to stop this policy, as i have started just before 2 months?

Hi,

I called up Bajaj Allianz today to find out my current fund value for this Sarva Sakhti Suraksha policy taken with citibank + Bajaj Allianz. Till date, I had paid 2000*36 = 72000rs and today when I called them, i was told that the current account value is 57935/-. Suffered the same fate as you guys. Lost ~14k unnecessarily due to this stupid policy. :(

Same here guys..I have also fooled by those people..
At the time of taking this policy that lady told me that it will add compound interest annually. Now here leave the interest, I even not getting me principal amount also...Such stupid people and the policy. Why can't they clearly mention the truth at the time of taking policy.
There should be some law to punish those people, who always fools to their customer...:( ;(
Dear Bajaj Allianz,

Could you let us know why the Account Value is always negative? It's a debt oriented policy, then why should it generate negative returns even after 3-4 years? When would the amount break even? Why would you always say your rep would contact us but no one gets back??? Why cant reply here in the forum with answers?

Thanks and Regards,
Shyam
I am also in the same boat as everybody here. I got the policy along with my Citibank salary account last year in April 2013. I was also told the same thing that interest will accrued and will be added to my salary account at the end of the year. Till now, I have not received anything. I am paying R 2000 every month. I would have gotten awesome returns had I done an SIP of this amount in a mutual fund, and taken a term insurance separately.
Does anyone have any idea how to surrender this policy and get out of it, or get more information about this policy? I have even tried to chat with them online on their site but dont seem to be getting any response from the other side.

Thank you
Arunabh Singh
I am also facing the same issue. Unfortunately I also took the same policy(policy number [protected]) and I am also cheated by BAJAJ ALLIANZ. I took the policy in JUNE 2010 and uptil now I have submited the premiums till August 2014. i.e I have submitted Rs 1, 00, 000 . Now If I am surrendering the policy they are giving 85, 900 Rs only.

There is nobody in Bajaj Allianz who can help me out. I have filed a complaint against them but nobody gives the response .You yourself have to call back They only gives you assurance that they will call back but they never call u back.

And also they don't have any explanations.

Now they are telling that 25% of first year premium would be deducted and thereafter 6% would be deducted besides this there are lot of charges but at the time of giving the policy it was told to me that there would be no charges.

I am attaching my certificate of Insurance also. In this document also no such charges have been mentioned.

Then how can they deduct such high charges. They are making fool of customers.

Can anyone help me out on this issue. How can I get my full money back which I have paid forgot about the interest

Thanks & Regards

Same case here. I've completed 4+ years depositing the premium. However no need to say the same fraud and cheat story by CITI bank and Bajaj Allianz, .

I am an Ex-Ericsson Employee, and I've written my mail to highest level of my company to take action against CITI bank and its partner to stop this open cheat . Currently Ericsson given10000+ account to CITI Bank. My previous employer assured me that they will take inquire and take appropriate action against CITI bank and if found something fishy they will neglect the deal with CITI bank.
Same case here. I've completed 4+ years depositing the premium on Policy Number: [protected] Membership number CB00959. I surrender the policy on aug 2014. I paid 76500/- as a premium. but received only 65798/- rupees only. There is a big loss of 10700 rupees.
At the time of creation, representatives will tell different stories while closing that will be different only.

Looking like Bajaj and CITI are making fool of customers.

How to stop this????????????????

Guru
