[Resolved]  Bank Loan — reduction of rate of interest

I have taken the home loan from the canfin homes. When ever the interest hike in the bank, the bank is automatically hiking the interest rate without the customer knowledge. where as when the interest rate is slashed, the bank will not take any action to reduce the interest rate.

In the recent past RBI reduced the home loan interest, and subsequently the Canfin home also announce the reduction of the interest rate in the paper. But they have not taken any action to reduce the interst rate. When approach the bank they informed that I have to submit an petition for the reduction of the interest rate.

Subsequently I have applied also. On completion of 2 months also no action has been taken by the bnk.

The complaint details sent to the bank is attached herewith for your kind perusal please.

Necessary action may please be taken at your end to solve this issue.

Dear Sir

Attached herewith my request for reduction of the loan interest of my housing loans and Mortgage Loan accounts. The details of the loan accounts are appended below:-

Loan account No - 782

Loan account No - 1116

Mortgage loan account No - ML27

Further it is brought to your kind notice that as and when the rate of interest increase your bank will increase the rate of interest to the customers without their knowledge. Whereas when it reduces, the bank is not taking any action to reduce the interest of the individual. After came to know reduction of the interest from the other user. when enquired about your bank, got the reply that you have not given any application for reduction of the interest.

It is not understood, Why it has happened. Once the interest hike automatic action by the bank and for the reduction, the individual has to apply for the reduction of the interest.

However your good office is requested to take necessary action to reduce my rate of interest from the present rate to the bank announced rate with effect from the date the interest was reduced.

Your action on the subject is highly appreciated and your reply on the subject is awaited for my further remedial action.
